An example of Godwin’s Law.
Suggesting simply because the author dares to broach the striking similarities, Political Correctness renders the discussion dead?

An obama supporter (Neo) is attacking the site and informed Mr.Benning that he (Neo) had reported him to the obama camp.
I left a few positive ratings for Benning.
I couldn’t get onto the site at all.
Greetings Thinkin:
My wife alerted me to today’s Ironton Tribune op-ed, and I thought it might make a great FR Ohio discussion thread.
Given Senator Obama has done nothing in his life but run for office, why should anyone support him for President? However, it seems Mr. Neo isn’t interested in reason, logic, or facts; guessing that’s all it takes to be an Obama supporter.

I had this conversation with a female professional in San Francisco today. I said, “Obama troubles me.” She asked, “Why?” I told her that I had read “Dreams from My Father” and asked her if she did. She replied, “No?”. She asked what troubled me about the book. I told her it was the drugs, the active seeking of Marxist inspiration and the deep seated anti-white racism despite being raised by white grandparents.
She said, “A person shouldn’t be judged on what they write in their youth. People can change...evolve.” I told her I found that highly suspect. I told her he was over 30 when he wrote the book. I told her that my core values were pretty much in place by the time I graduated college at 22. I told her that Reagan governed very much in the vein of his statements that he made back during the Goldwater campaign. I told her that the Reich Chancellor governed just like his views in “Mein Kampf”.
She paused. She thought. She said, “Did you know that I’m Jewish?” I said, “No.” We were silent together for a while.

While reading Audacity of Hope, my reflections where how the book reeks of Marx style class warfare rhetoric.

Were you able to check the website?

I looked at your personal page. Thank you so much for your service. And thank you for the video of 9/11 - so we will all - never forget! God bless you.
Some how the “Obama is a communist” and “Obama is Hitler” thing is already getting tired. Obama doesn’t have a scapegoat (in Hitlers case Communists and Jews & Versailles) in his speeches. The comparison is a loser except for the extreme right that wouldn’t vote for him anyway. Hitler talked about heads rolling, Obama talks about healing divisions. In other words Hitler was telling the truth and people liked it. Obama, on the other hand probably has a hidden agenda. Stick to the left-wing comparisons and not the Nazi ones - it is too extreme and, in my opinion, inappropriate.

Roger never forgetting 9-11; that video still brings tears to my eyes. And I appreciate your kind words.

Wow! You write beautifully!
I don’t know if that is a true story or not but it should be.
Thank you.
This is very creepy, but I think the author is spot on. Obama has named scapegoats: "Reaganomics," "the wealthy," and "NAFTA."
And in today's speech, Obama suggests creating a "civilian national security force" that would be as powerful, strong and well-funded as the half-trillion dollar U.S. Armed Forces.
Those who fail to learn from history are damned to relive it. Unfortunately, political correctness prohibits anyone from making such observations.

OLA
Thank you for that video.
Thank you so much.
No, I still can’t get on. I wonder why.
Greetings Nipfan:
Try searching for Ironton Tribune in your favorite search engine. It is under opinion.
