House Committee Holds She-Male Hearing: Why?

Unreported in most of the media last week was the first congressional hearing ever held on alleged "transgender discrimination" in the workplace. This hearing was to offset the overwhelming opposition that arose last year from fellow democrats who forced the removal from the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) of language for special rights for she-males, drag queens, cross dressers, and those having sex changes with operations or hormones. This hearing was a charade attempting to show how normal these lifestyles are.

The Gaystapo vote is needed. Wouldn’t want them to go bi-partisan (say a third party candidate like Nader).

...yet will find time to FORCE this cr@p down our collective throats.

Let me be the first to say that I don't want Barney Frank forcing anything down my throat!

I agree Donna. And I recognize a great man who once said the Democrat party left him. Today I have to say unequivocally, that the Republican party has left me.

I can’t back the likes of John McCain.

man I’m glad they’re doing this and not wasting time on things like working on the energy situation in this country.

I agree because their majority Congress is the do nothing Congress to be sure. Perhaps that’s good though.

They don’t plan on doing nothing under Obama though. And for that matter, John doesn’t plan on doing nothing with that same Congresss either.

What a difference the next four years is going to make.

The American public wants increased drilling for oil. Nothing happens.

The American public doesn’t want amnesty for illegal aliens. Nothing happens.

But Congress has the time to ponder the “plight” of trans-sexuals.

We need a new Congress.

Dems have obviously confused the theme “Drill here, drill now.”

"House Committee Holds She-Male Hearing: Why?

Because Congress has nothing better to do. They aren't willing to tackle the really important stuff.

Because pandering to every special interest group gets them a few more votes.

A few of them might learn a few new kinky tricks.

Etc., etc.

..."transgender discrimination"...

Glad the democrats are dealing with this critical issue rather than find ways to improve the supply/demand crisis with crude oil, deal with Iran developing nuclear weapons, reduce the risk of another terrorist attack, or lowering tax rates to stimulate economic growth.

This really cannot be that big a problem. I don’t believe I’ve ever encountered a “transgendered” individual in the workplace.

So we discriminate against a dozens of weirdos nationwide. Who cares?

I remember when Lamar Alexander was running for president and he said we should physically move the Cabinet departments from Washington DC to various cities across the country.

Agriculture, Commerce, Defense, Education, Energy, Health and Human Services, HUD, etc - they would all be in different cities. It would shake up their power base, upset the lobbyists and give DC a taste of America.

I bet old Lamar is not surprised at how the Republican Revolution turned out.

It is really disturbing to mention she-males and drilling in the same post.

Thanks Donna. I don’t remember seeing that proposal. It’s interesting. I think most jobs like that should be part time. They could serve six weeks per year and spend the rest of the time at their own job.

We wouldn’t have to pay them, and they would always have one foot in the real world.

I’m sure Alexander would pretty much agree. What we have sure isn’t working.
