On the "Today" show June 20, David Faber referred to "the recession ... these tough economic times." Yet that very day first-quarter GDP was revised upward again to 1 percent.

America is not in recession, and who knows -- maybe we'll be less likely to have one if my compatriots would just chill. A recession is defined as two quarters of negative economic growth. We haven't even had one quarter of negative growth.

Too many of the "big" thinkers who define recession for us also define things such as The Second Amendment of The Bill of Rights, and at exactly which point in time a baby within its mother becomes a human being.

...and in both cases, we don't trust, nor give much credence to what either says anymore.

The new Allstate Insurance commercial says, “Recession, sure feels like we are in one...” Guess they are going to do what they can for the Obama cause as well.

Remember 1992 , the media kept calling it the worst econmy since the great depression. The after clinton took office ,
6 months later , the media claimed a Clinton recovery.
