The DNC's Denver confab has adopted political correctness not seen since George McGovern boycotted grapes. Organizers have strict rules aimed at the "greenest convention in the history of the planet." * No fried foods. Whatsoever. * All meals must include "at least three of the following colors: red, green, yellow, blue/purple and white." * At least 70% of foods must be organic and grown locally..........900 recycling enforcers will ensure every scrap of trash goes into the proper bin. But full compliance is proving difficult........demands that 15,000 fanny packs for volunteers be US-made of organic cotton by union labor turns out to be impossible: Such things don't exist.

MY SUGGESTON The DNC menu should be all-protein, low-residue astronaut-type diet to save energy from incessant flushing, and overusage of water and paper.

Someone should tell the Greenie-bozos that fanny packs and other such conveniences are not allowed! How dare they waste any of the earth's precious resources on mere convenience....... the 15,000 volunteers can be told to clutch everything in their bare hands - they don't really 'need' fanny packs - just carry everything and save on resources. For that matter, abolish all forms of convenience, and then abolish the convention itself!! The Internet allows them to make their decisions without convening in person, so why should they be allowed to emit so much "carbon" to transport and house and feed, etc. tens of thousands of humans??? DO they really care about GAIA, or not??
