If I were killed in battle, I would not want my remains returned at the cost of freeing terrorists who would work tirelessly to kill more of my countrymen (including my relatives and friends). To my way of thinking, such a swap would denigrate my sacrifice more than not having a proper burial. I would not want to be properly buried at the cost of more innocent lives.
It almost seems that the Israelis have a national suicidal death wish. The deal would only make sense if they first kill the terrorists in their custody and then trade their corpses.
In order to make it an even exchange, he'll be dead, I assume?

Some folks wonder why I pray very often for Israel. My heart breaks at the fate these three brave Israeli soliders must have met at the hands of the heathen gutter trash. May their souls rest in peace in God’s Kingdom and may Israel find its soul and leaders that will not be craven and trade live terrorists for dead Israelis. May the real Israelis and the Almighty not forget what these three brave men and their families went through and may there me a new Israeli administration that will execute true justice upon the perpetrators of these crimes. Or as I put it sometimes, it is long overdue for Israel to go “Old Testament” on these Amalekstinian terrorists, come down on them like stink on bleep and then commence to hurt ‘em real, real bad!
