Next attack: Coming soon?

When the terrorists attack again - as Homeland Security has repeatedly warned us they will - how many survivors will be consoled because the Supreme Court and the State Department looked out for the "rights" of terrorists before the rights of their dead loved ones?

Will the dead be wrapped in a copy of the Supreme Court's 5-4 ruling granting foreign detainees, whose mission is to destroy our Constitution, our country and way of life, the right to appeal to U.S. civilian courts to challenge their detention, a right that should be reserved only for American citizens? Perhaps inside the caskets can go a statement by the State Department refusing to close Islamic schools underwritten by the government of Saudi Arabia, which teach visceral hatred of Jews, Christians and all things Western.

To the second issue first. Despite the recommendation from a federal panel that the Islamic Saudi Academy in Alexandria, Va., be closed for promoting hate, the State Department won't go along.

State has jurisdiction because as part of the Saudi government, the school is subject to the Foreign Missions Act. A local Democrat running for Congress won't support the closing of the school, either. He is Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Chairman Gerry Connolly, who has reportedly called critics of the academy "bigots." Perhaps his position is related to a $2.2 million check the county received from the Saudi Embassy to extend the lease another year.

The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom looked into reports the school was teaching hate. The school promised to clean up the textbooks. The commission looked again to see if the school had done so and concluded it had not....

Note to terrorists: Do not get too giddy over this recent ruling. What it means to you guys in practical terms is that the USA will now torture you on foreign soil and then put a lead slug in your scull thereafter.

Some liberals / radicals / anarchist types really and truly would rather be dead and wrapped in the paperwork of that court decision. Some of them really and truly believe that we need to hold fast to our highest ideals, because if we don’t then we’ve sunk to their level and are no better than the terrorists.

Some of these radical types think Bush is the biggest terrorist in world history. They think Bush is the biggest war criminal in history.

We get hit before the election, it;’s Bush’s fault. We get a mushroom cloud in DC if Obama is elected, the media will still make it Bush’s fault.

Write your elected Representatives and tell them to do their Constitutional duty and bypass the left wing Judges on the Supreme Court and pass laws that cannot be overturned by the Court as defined in the Constitution.

Article III, Section 2 of the Constitution states:

“In all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, and those in which a State shall be Party, the Supreme Court shall have original Jurisdiction. In all the other Cases before mentioned, the Supreme Court shall have appellate Jurisdiction, both as to law and Fact, with such Exceptions, and under such Regulations as the Congress shall make.”

Since the US Congress has made the Exceptions and Regulations for the captured terrorist so that they will be tried by Military Court and to keep them confined how can the Supreme Court make a direct violation of the Constitution when they say that these terrorist killers can be released and tried in the US Federal Court. If this is so then those Nazi and other war criminals should have never been tried nor kept in prison during the WW II.

The Constitution further states that the Congress and the Congress ONLY can: Under Article I, Section 8 ….make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water.” And Section 9 states that: The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or invasion the public Safety may require it.” It is required for these Terrorist Killers and in this case the Congress, since we have been invaded and are at WAR, may suspend Habeas Corpus which the capture law they passed for these terrorist states.

How can my members of Congress and the US Senate allow the Supreme Court to destroy the Constitution and give terrorist killers, who have declared war on the United States and invaded our land and killed thousands of Americans, the rights of United States Citizens and force the American tax payer to pay millions for the al-Qaeda supports to free these killers?

The Constitution states: “The Congress is to make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers and all other Powders vested by this Constitution in the Government of the United States….” The Court is given NO power to make law.

Can you please follow your oath and the Constitution and stop those on the Supreme Court who have tossed the Constitution under the bus and are supporting killers and enemies of the American People?

You have the power under the Constitution to restrict what the Supreme Court can do and you should use your Constitutional Power to keep the American People SAFE, and not allow left wing Judges to run the country and disregard the Constitution. They were NOT given that Power in the Constitution YOU WERE.

“The next attack probably won’t come by airplane but in a shopping mall, or a school, or on Wall Street, or possibly all three.”

It’s a huge fear of mine that we’ll get hit in a Christian church...during Sunday service.

Or in an elementary school during school hours.

Cheer Up - this just posted on Newsmax.com

“Extremist groups continue to actively seek nuclear weapons, a senior US official said Tuesday during a meeting in Spain of a US-Russian initiative to fight nuclear terrorism.

“Combating nuclear terrorism is especially important today,” US Undersecretary of State for Arms Control John Rood told a news conference.

“Regretably we continue to see indications in the United States from information we collect of the very terrorist groups we are most concerned about making concerted efforts to acquire nuclear capabilities with the express intent to use them against our peoples,” he added. “

No doubt we will quickly rush to issue a ticket to those naughty Muslims just as soon as the mushroom cloud has dissipated. Oh, And we’ll pay for their lawyers too.

This may be the practical result of this ruling. Instead of these guys being captured, it’s possible that “justice” will be administered in a different way.

Wasn’t there once a president who said “The Supreme Court has made a decision, now let them enforce it”. I wish something like that could happen here. The law they ruled unconstitutional was written specifically with previous court rulings in mind. They wrote this law with language and provisions that were thought to pass muster based no previous court rulings. It’s a shock to see that they drafted a law which complies with previous guidelines, and then the court just throws it out anyway.

Is there any legislation that will pass muster with this court, or do we just have to accept that war criminals/POWs/captured terrorists have to be given the same legal status as American citizens accused of DUI or breach of contract?

So far they have targeted things that are pivotal in our economy or infrastructure. World Trade..economy. Pentagon..military infrastructure. They also have repeated the same target. World Trade.
They also targeted LAX, but the team was caught in 1999 crossing the border.
I still think that LAX could be a target. There is nothing stopping bringing a vehicle bomb into the departure or arrival area.
As a result..I stopped flying LAX in 2001. Haven’t been back. I also wouldn’t allow my direct reports to fly there either.

What will never get mentioned is that the 9/11 terrorists were here during the last two years of Clinton's administration, training for the attack. Whatever motivated the terrorists to attack the United States in the first place, happened before Bush even considered running for President.

I may sound brain dead, but Telekom had an outage 6 weeks ago in our neighborhood, and we are still waiting to get internet back. They said that it’s not their fault, but we have tried everything and cannot find out why it won’t return. Good ol’ Deutsche Telokom!

Actually a foreign terrorist now has more constitutional rights than a US citizen facing an IRS audit.

My solution to this ruling, until we can get a reversal some time down the line, is to simply send all these prisoners of war to Iraq and Afghanistan and let the local governments handle them, thereby taking them out of our jurisdiction. I am sure they will be much happier be taken care of by peaceful muslims instead of mean, torturous Americans.

IF... we are hit again in a major attack on our soil, the government has catagorically failed in its most important job. It will prove that in its current form, it can only act after the nation has been crippled... and even then, only in limited fashion.

Superpower my a$$... and death to all traitors!

Don't worry, our friend, "Barry" Hussein Obama will meet with them face to face and tell them how disappointed he is...
