I may never get my thoughts straight about President Bush.
God bless him, (almost) none of his own will :((

That notwithstanding, this man is one of the towering mortals of the 21st century.
People with any sense will be both humbled and honored to be an American by this son of America.
The mark of a great man.
it would be my honor to tell President Bush face to face.....I got yer back !!
Thanks for posting this, Dawnsblood.
I thank and appreciate President Bush.
Me too. Especially when I contemplate the truly awful alternatives, (Gore & Kerry)
Those fears are so 2004.
;-)

I may disagree with a few of the things he has tried or tried to do, but I do love this president
I love the man.
Do I have some criticisms? You bet. The border, too much spending, etc.
But, as for the war on terror, I have zero complaints. None. He was the right man for the time.
He didn’t meely mouth and throw diplomatic words of protest at the terrorists. He handed them their heads on a platter. The rest of the world took notice. Although the press will never admit it, I’ll bet he is almost considered a god in the Middle East.
He took over Afghanistan (remember how that was supposed to be impossible? The media relentlessly lectured us how in all the centuries since Alexander no one had been able to conquer Afghanistan bla bla bla) in a few weeks and practically exterminated the terrorists who had held that nation hostage for two decades.
Then Iraq. Saddam’s Iraq was by far the most powerful nation in the area. When he rattled his saber, all the other nations trembled. When Bush made noise about taking out Saddam, few in the Middle East thought it possible. Saddam was too powerful, they said.
How long did it take to take Baghdad? The rest of the Middle East nations couldn’t believe their eyes. Iraq was not only taken, but both of Saddam’s evil spawn, who seemed so strong and authoritative a month before, were dead. And Saddam himself was in a cage. You cannot imagine what that did to the Arab psyche. They are surely thinking “Gee whiz, is there anything this bada$$ CAN’T do?”
Oh, and NO, ZERO, NADA terrorist attacks on American shores since 9/11/01. When all the Muslim terrorist cells on the planet would have given everything they had just to kill more Americans in the U.S., Bush and co. kept us safe. That is huge.
Plus, he gave us two superb Supreme Court justices and much needed tax relief.
That doesn’t offset the border problem (which MUST be tackled by the next president before it is too late) or the ridiculous increase in federal spending. But, with Bush I can find much more positive than negative.
I have no doubt—NONE—that Bush will be remembered as a good, maybe even great, president. Might take 30+ years, but I am sure of it.

...and, I’ll stand with you! God bless this good man who loves God, America and freedom.
It’s just like a marriage.

Worst? so its as bad as operation Barbarossa for the Germans? or The Marianas turkey shoot for Japan? or pearl harbor for Japan for that matter. Or Napoleons comeback..
