Our view: Hispanic Institute's boycott of CNN over Lou Dobbs puts networks on notice public won't tolerate hateful lies
Tucson, Arizona | Published: 06.08.2008
advertisementThe Hispanic Institute, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit group, last week launched a national boycott of CNN, the cable news channel, to highlight unrelenting and erroneous attacks against Latino immigrants by talk-show host Lou Dobbs.

Ethnic pressure group blah blah blah blah blah blah.
Comments trump the brain-dead clone reporter+editors. Vox populi
Just catching up to the boycott most Americans have been practicing all along.
That probably means the institute is funded by American tax payers.
PROUD TO BE AN INFIDEL!!

Gosh, just because those very things are fully documented facts we should not let that get in the way of calling them erroneous in a juvenile attempt to shovel shi... propaganda.
Yup. The “comments” are the best part.
That probably means the institute is funded by American tax payers.
Crude website with a blog that is not updated
I think this "Hispanic Institute" is two cholos with a fax machine, typewriter, maybe an old computer
What really concerns me...in Canada there are government bodies, as in Europe, who are calling individuals into court and asking them to prove that what they said or wrote is...not a hate crime. They have to prove a negative.
Some in Dem party wish to restore the “fairness doctrine”, it would eliminate “hate radio”...other talk about having both Houses of Congress and the Presidency “reform” Fox News.
These Stalinists are very scary people.
Illogic is their strong suit.
Let me get this right. We are supposed to support the Clinton News Network, because, uh what/why again?
Is this what they meant about the end times lambs laying down with the lions and such?
We never had to put up with crappy things like free speech back in the old country...
No-no-no-no. I found it hillarious that CNN & Lou Dobbs were the targets of these loons.
Not here. I started watching Dobbs BECAUSE he is exposing the invasion of the U.S.
Most of us have nothing against "Latino" immigrants.
It's the illegal invaders flooding our borders that we don't like.
Here, I'll challenge all readers: Find me one Mexican national standing on a street corner or at a local store somewhere, anywhere begging for money.
You won't find one because their work ethic is such that they hold down two or more jobs most of us wouldn't do; they are more inclined to make and sell tortillas, tamales and burritos to make a buck than steal anything from anyone; and, as in the case of my immigrant mother, they care too much for their kids, their family, their city and community -- indeed that which allows them to be positive, productive forces for what's good in society.
I won't sign up to post but I would like to pose him challenge.
Go to any hospital emergency room and see how many are lining for "free" health care.
Go to any social services office and see how many are lining up for "free" services.
Go to any public school and see how many are sending there children to school for "free".
There's street corner begging and then there's the illegal alien kind of begging.
The author is saying Americans and immigrants of Hispanic origin are just naturally law breakers? Immigration laws, document fraud, perjury are all laws to be laughed at and dismissed?
Is it true that Americans and immigrants of Hispanic origin have no respect whatsoever for our heritage as a Nation of laws not men -- is the Republican Party right to disrespect our heritage also? (Though not as blatant, they at least want the law-breakers to pay a couple of bucks as punishment.)
Or.. is the author a repugnant reprobate?
The later,..
