We’ll know it’s happening when birds start flying upside-down.

Better check again...the “wonderful instruments” of science may need some maintenance or replacement. Looks like a job for...The Mythbusters.

Earth's poles long overdue for reversalDoes that mean RATS will then only debate globull warming bills in the winter months of June and July? I'm jazzed!
How can we help this process along? Suddenly stop the SUV during a green light? Sleep on the left side of the bed instead of the right? Turn our refrigerators around so the magnets face the other way?
I want to know.

For some unknown reason, a side hobbie at best, I have been following earthquake activity sense 1973 to the present (USGS) and charting such as an Excel project. I see no general increase in earthquack activity over that period of time. More earthquacks here, fewer there
but the overall activity has, for the most part, been stable.
Perhaps you are right, when the overall earthquake activity increases significantly
the predicted magnetic swap could be soon.

I thought that a magnetic field reversal would let more cosmic radiation down onto the Earth’s surface which would greatly increase the mutation rate for all exposed life exposed to it.
