In 1958 a 13-year-old that fully developed was rare to non-existent. Has that gotten to be common today or what exactly??

I’ve heard explanations of “too much refined sugar in our diets”, etc.

I’ve also heard that the absence of the bio-father in the home leads to early puberty in girls.

Better nutrition is why... Some blame the hormones in milk as well, but basically its better overall nutrition.

I work for the school district, and let me tell you, it is very common for middle school girls to be fully developed. And unfortunately, most of the parents don't have much more sense than the father here, based on what I see these girls wearing to school.

Just to give you an idea of how early girls are developing these days, I have a niece that will turn 10 this month. She has already started her period and is getting past the "training bra" stage as well. I feel sorry for my sister and her husband over the next few years, having to deal with all of that. Fortunately, I have all boys...

Not true. I was an 18 y.0. working for the Park department at a community center and developed a relationship with a girl that hung out there. She already had a reputation.

We almost consumated the deal when I accidently found out she was 12! It scared me to death and I broke off even talking to her—but I don’t know if I’d have backed off if she was 17 to my 18.

That’s a really tough thing to handle when you’re in your teens yourself. Guess you need a photo ID when you can’t know the truth.

Growth hormones in the chicken and beef. that's my personal theory on it.

that is a good point physically speaking

i’m 50 and a long way from the old chasing girls days but if the girl repeatedly lied and concocted a big story about her age then how can they send a man to prison for 5 years for believing her?

when I was young, a lot (maybe most if they were strangers) lied about being 18 when they were actually 16-17.

Back then 18 was more a legal age than now...for drinking.
