Feinstein: Obama should pick Clinton to be VP
KHQA-TV ^ | May 23, 2008

Posted on 05/23/2008 6:11:27 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Senator Dianne Feinstein says that if Barack Obama becomes the Democratic nominee, he should select Hillary Rodham Clinton as his running mate.

Feinstein, a longtime friend and supporter of Clinton's, says Clinton and Obama have "garnered a different constituency and different states." The California senator says that combining them would form the strongest ticket.

It isn't clear if Clinton would accept the vice-presidency, but Feinstein says she thinks that anyone accepts if they're asked.

The Obama campaign has dismissed reports that there are talks going on between the two campaigns about putting Clinton on the ticket.

The “Dirt” hss a LOT more credibility when it comes from other dems, or from out of the blue, than if it comes from pubbies in the form of 527’s. Lets face it, the Swift Boat Vets should have crushed Kerry, but they only hurt him a little bit. Had Kerry been in a long drawn out primary battle with his opponenet using Swift Boat info to slam him, I think it would have been more effective.

Aside from the viability of an Obama/Clinton ticket, I just don’t see bambi ever being comfortable with it, The Beast and Bill would be forever in the background with that evil knowing smile. Bambi is an idiot, but not that much of an idiot.

Very true. Had it not been for this cat fight the MSM would have covered for whom ever was the DEM nominee. The Democrats are in the process of crippling their party. The race baiting is very damaging to the DEM party. I hope it goes on and on.

From your keyboard to God's monitor. I hope they have not shot the wad about Barak AND Michelle. I just wonder what could top the very Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

His past connections with terrorists. His activities in Kenya.  Obama is not answering any questions right now.  He must address these questions sooner or later.

Makes sense. I'll wait and see I guess. He IS vulnerable on many fronts but getting the MSM to jump in might be the challenge.

I can’t believe how many here just love to hose down Limbaugh on this forum. Look, Hillary would have had a much better chance at being Obama’s VP if she would have gracefully got out several months ago. As it stands now she has a much less chance of being picked. I just can’t see Barrack, Mechelle, Hillary, and Bill standing out there on the stage holding hands an hugging while the ballons are falling.

You are right - If she didn't have the prominence she has now and had bowed out a month ago she would never stand a chance at being Veep. Your image of them sharing the same stage makes that point clearly - A completely impossible scenario.

The problem is that now she has more clout and therefore more eligibility for the position and might even be able to force that stage scene.

Roger that. We could see the political death of the Clintons, and the remaining Rats so far to the left they are simply unelectable.

Clinton and Obama have "garnered a different constituency and different states

no difference between them on issues. So apparently by "constituency" they mean race and gender. Incredible.

I could just see Bill lurking around the White House telling Obama what to do. Snowballs chance in hell, IMHO.”

Having Michelle Obama in the same building with hillary would be worth the price of a ticket!!
What would happen if Bill made a serious pass at Michelle?
She decks him or runs and tells her hubby? Since she already hates white, that could be worth another ticket purchase.

It's actually gotten lesser and lesser likely she could/would be chosen as VP as this fight has dragged on. Her comments today, bringing up Robert Kennedy's assisination for the second time as a reason for staying in the race, is being damned by many liberals as "unforgivable". Slimeball websites like Democratic Underground and Huffington Post are overloaded with Clinton haters right now, the "dream ticket" as it was once called is more like "snowball in hell" these days.

Hillary isn't so stupid as to accept a veep invitation from Osama Hussein. There are a million reasons why from her point of view and most assuredly, they're good reasons which I would agree with if I was on her side.

However, a fun one is that she knows that he wouldn't even send her to represent the U.S. at the funeral of an important personage even if that personage lived 2 blocks from her. She would become the incredible vanishing woman.

“So much for Limbaugh’s OC. I wanted a stake in her heart ASAP and this guy has done his best to keep her alive! talk about unintended consequences - Sheeeesh!”

Agreed 100%!

I noticed my copy of “Absolute Power” today amongst the books on the shelf, picked it up and read some. I was instantly reminded by David Limbaugh as to why I wanted to see the Clinton’s out of our lives for good.

Hillary sucks off...

Please....never begin a sentence like that when discussing the Clintons. You almost gave me heart failure.

Obama would be a dolt to put Hillary on the ticket. What he needs is the white male vote, and she can’t deliver that.

Oh, and she also is hinting at assassinating him, also, which is always a red flag.

I visit other forums and I can tell you that the Obama camp hates Hillary. I think Obama would pick Hilly if he thought it would insure his successful bid for the White House. However, it would be a very unpleasant administration.

Bill Clinton would be the reason.

If they do combine forces, I think McCain ought to withdraw his candidacy and save everyone a lot of money. As for the rest of us, get ready for eight years of pure misery.
