Conservatives with a Black Eye may Win Anyway!

Barak Obama touts one form of Socialism after another and has the nerve to call it change. Hillary, already known for being a Socialist as well as a bald faced liar is simply annoyed that her chances of making the grade are slipping away. In all her campaign contributions, she has yet to garner enough money to give back the silverware she ripped off when she was in the White House. This is the Democrat’s idea of change.

It’s time to face reality. What is really the Republican’s idea of change? The hand wringing over the lack of a genuine died in the wool Conservative, someone other than John McCain, being advanced as the Republican nominee, can be heard from coast to coast. The Country is lost or going down the tubes with the brakes off, according to the God Fearing, social Conservatives. These are the people who made this Country great yet they weep and wail as if the sky is falling because there is no one to carry a Conservative banner to the White House for them.

Conservatives may get a black eye when supporting or trying to advance the Republican ticket. The black eye is well deserved because; for far too long, the Republicans have been little more than Democratic lite. The focus of the discussion is what needs real change. What Conservatives are asking for, even though they should be demanding it, is individual rights as opposed to group rights, group designation in general or group think. Some of us like to think of individual rights as “freedom”!

Pick any typical Liberal / Conservative topic; gun control, environmental issues, abortion, racial issues, taxes etc. Human rights dictate an elevated level of individual freedom and when the argument is framed accordingly, the Conservative always wins. The Liberal, assuming he wants to retain the right to continue to express himself, must relinquish! Three generations of brainwashing from the Liberal Media have taught people to think in terms of themselves as a part of a group. Isolate them from victim hood and a genuine, thinking human being has a chance to emerge.

Yes, America needs a change. A change toward stricter Socialism only deepens the problem. America has been here before but never with it’s productive citizens being this confused and intimidated. Prohibition, slavery, King George etc are problems that America has overcome in the past. The problem America is facing now requires all of us to build a vision for the future that will build on our past victories. That solution is individual rights for all, not group rights or Politically Correct dogma. Once that vision is clarified, America can start down the path of her former glory. Until then, the Obamas and Clintons of our political system will have the opportunity to continue their damage.

John McCain isn’t the problem. A man who spent 5 years in a POW camp will probably be the first to be convinced that the main problem America is facing is the deterioration of individual rights. Who Knows? Once convinced, he may surprise everyone by doing something about it.

McCain has shown a complete lack of inclination to do any such thing to date.

I'm not about to hang my hat on one conservative position McCain might take knowing he has taken a multitude of socialist positions by associating himself with socialists when he sought to become a member of the socialist Democrat party in 2001, has been funded by communist billionaire George Soros, was considered a possible VP running mate with John Kerry in 2004, sponsored many bills with socialists, has promised to speak with La Raza, refused to drill in ANWR and defended Marxist Obama by admonishing his own party when the North Carolina GOP wanted to run an ad against Obama.

"McCain has shown a complete lack of inclination to do any such thing to date."

Soros didn't buy McCain to promote individual rights.

How sad that we have now gotten to the point where we are now being brought down to hoping John Mccain has a change of heart on drilling, refining, the borders, illegal immigration, global warming and the list goes on and on. You can’t be everything to everybody. The only three issues I applaude is the continuation of the Bush tax cuts, the elimination of all earmarks and national security the winning of this war, no surrender. But we cannot be certain these will be followed after the election, we are hoping again, and it sucks!

“Man, the McCain apologists just can’t ever give up.”

McCain MAY manage to get elected in spite of himself.

I expect the apologists to continue with this crap until it becomes so painfully obvious that the man is an absolute clusterf*ck that even THEY cannot deny it.

Many appear to be trying to convince themselves that the dog turd they are looking at is really a Snickers bar that someone dropped on the ground.

A few appear ready to take a bite.
