This C-SPAN video of a speech delivered by Mrs. Obama in North Carolina last Friday is characteristic of her peculiar recent performances on the stump. It is an hour-long talk to supporters who just want something to cheer about, and who get some opportunities at the outset, but then find themselves treated to a profoundly and relentlessly negative vision of American life.

We had a woman in her 60s at work who was straight out of the same mold. She was morose, beaten down by life and thankful she had never brought kids into this miserable world. Needless to say, she was an ultra-leftist who thought government ownership of all industry was the best possible world. The strange thing is she worked in a venture-capital funded startup, the epitome of capitalist enterprise. More often than not, you find that leftists are all cut from the same cloth.
Is there nothing Michelle is happy about? I mean anything? Did she at least enjoy her lunch? Maybe see a butterfly? View an old rerun of 'I Love Lucy?'

MGD tells the story of one relative who walked with his wife from Chicago to Milwaukee to establish a farm in this area. I think of them often when I pass the new and modern school building that sits on this land today, and I am humbled. I'm not sure I would have had the stuff to be a pioneer.
To say that we in this day and age are struggling like never before is to be ignorant of what came before you. Ignorant and ungrateful.

What happens in that nation is that people do become isolated, they do live in a level of division, because see when you’re that busy struggling all the time, which most people that you know and I know are, see you don’t have time to get to know your neighbors, you don’t have time to reach out and have conversations to share stories, in fact you feel very alone in your struggle because you feel somehow it must be your fault that you’re struggling that hard, everybody else must be doing ok, I must be doing something wrong, so you hide…What happens in that kind of nation is that people are afraid. Because when your world’s not right no matter how hard you work, then you become afraid of everyone and everything, because you don’t know whose fault it is, why you can’t get a handle on life, why you can’t secure a better future for your kids.”

I like Jeremiads, but from Scripture or someone who is a believer in Christ—not from some passive-aggressive whining woman with a raging black inferiority complex (self-imposed, to boot!).
Whatever the Obamas have gotten at that “church”, it is not even remotely related to Biblical Christianity, which says “Forgive those who have trespassed against you” and—GASP!!!—”Slaves, obey your earthly masters...”, among many other pride-shattering things.
There is nothing original or unique about these people, they are like all the other ambitious money-grubbers who prey on others’sinful pride and greed.

Here’s a woman who lives a very privileged life (and has done little or nothing to earn her lofty status). She has a cushy BS job as a “diversh*tty coordinator”, at which she makes almost five times as much as I do. She attended a prestigious university (where she responded with hostility to white people’s attempts to welcome her) and lives in a rich fancy neighborhood. There’s a good chance that she will be the next First Lady of the United States. She is treated with fawning adoration by every mainstream media outlet.
And yet, she’s still bitter, still angry, and still considers herself a victim.

Last month I had subbed in a very rowdy inner city class.About ten black girls clustered around each other,cussing,grinding on each other’s desks and basically acting like loud obnoxious jackasses.
The three young black men in the class were quietly chatting up the Asian hotties in the back of the room,totally oblivious to the “sisters”.

Liberal —> world is awful, nobody has a chance, everybody is beaten down, America’s best days are behind it, woe is me, no family support
Conservative —> the future is bright, people have no limits on how high they can soar, world is your oyster, large and vibrant families.
