Yup, nominating a black man is a watershed moment for the country in general and the dems in particular, but so is nominating a woman......... So what do the dems do? They try to nominate both in the same election. What timing?

If the Democrats are so concerned about the lateness of their convention, why don't they just re-schedule it for earlier in the year? Denver in February can be an interesting event, and if they had just set up the anticipated Hilary coronation for the week after Supercalifraigalisticexpalidious Tuesday, the candidate would have been decided a long time ago.

And if it goes on ... look, first of all the cable networks would love this to be an August fiasco. What better way to get ratings in late August than to have Democrats ripping each other apart in a national convention? You talk about television, it doesn't get any better than that. You know, worldwide wrestling would take a second seat to it.

Dodd is against long primary seasons . That is why he bought a house and moved his family to Iowa so the campaign did not start too soon without him ./sarc

Gee, it seems to me that the Dhimmocratic Party has
always been the Party of Bitterness & Nastiness. In other words, the Party of Children. So, what's the problem, Doddy-boy?
The GOP is no picnic these days, but they're closer to the Party of Adults than the Dhimmis.

Speaking of damage. Can the people of Denver increase the insurance on their homes and businesses before the riot convention?

One of the main points of Operation Chaos. We need a dimocRAT brokered convention that is badly split.
To: mdittmar
Dodd said that? It sounds just like a snarky comment I would make, Ha! Extending the Democrat nominating process longer is exactly the goal of Operation Chaos, lead by that great American, Rush Limbaugh. Dodd just provides more confirmation that it is working.

It’s not that the candidates won’t get together, Dodd said.The winner and the loser usually patch it up. It’s their staffs and their supporters and others who have a harder time crossing back over again after a race like this. So it worries me.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
So the sandwich maker (see Teddy Kennedy and waitress) is worried about “staffs”, a “harder” time, and “crossing back over”. With his history, I don’t know why he’s worried.

Dang, we knew all this months ago! It confirms my suspicion that Dodd isn’t too bright.
