Concerning the rally on April 5, 2008 at Long Wharf, the Guardian Angels were mistakenly listed as co-sponsoring the event. While they plan on attending in support, they are not involved in the leadership or planning of the event due to their non political status.

Heres’ hoping all will go well and all who attend this event shall return safely to their homes feeling they really did accomplish something honorable. For some of us, each day is Memorial Day in essence. For so many others, with little or no ties to our military current or past, or any clue as just who protects this nation's interests, surely these monuments of remembrance are a befitting way of bringing the great sacrifices of all who have served into their conscience.
