Anyone who does not want to protect our borders, language, culture, sovereignty, Constitution, and economy is no Freeper worth the name.
Anybody ask Perry what his cut of the interstate deal is?
Betcha he stands to make a bundle.
Check the jewelry stores to see how man solid gold Rolexes Perry ordered-—after all, he wants to look good when he’s lolling on his beachfront property in Rio......after visiting his offshore accounts.

(..and you thought I was kidding..actually, I noticed because I have a green 50th anniversary model that is very similar.)
Whatever it is I imagine it might resemble a nice hacienda in Cabo staffed by young, single girls. !
Didn't think there would be any. Trans-Tex doesn't expect anyone to approve. They have to go through the motions of having public hearings and taking input. Doesn't matter what the input is. It isn't required that anyone should be in favor of it. Trucks and trains will run mainly through the plains regardless. It's a done deal. Be advised Trans-Tex is not asking permission for this. They are merely serving notice on what's coming down the pike - - literally.
We got the same treatment with Border XXI.
I have a feeling this thing will not happen. There are people being quoted who are apparently perfectly willing to spill blood over the taking of their land. And surely the government has to realize this by now.
Dont mention Michael Medved! He is a complete tool! Whatever respect for him I once had vanished when he became a shill for Captain Queeg (McCain).
How many “Lemmings” were at the meeting? Don’t they know that once public hearings begin.....IT’S A DONE DEAL....THE FIX IS IN.....THE BIDS HAVE ALREADY BEEN RIGGED!
Public hearings don’t accomplish “squat” and are meant only to feed the “Lemmings” feel good stew.
Elected officials in favor of this boondoggle should have been thrown out of office when firs mention of this scheme to fatten the wallets of the fat cats and political hacks came to light. Now it’s too late...the Camel’s nose, head and shoulders are already under the tent and he has no intention of leaving.
Example #23984672 of how NO MATTER who you elect they are all part of a corrupt group, whether initially or not but by the time they leave office they have done the legals here a disservice.
I'm sure they do. But on a project this huge, (which includes the North American Union and all that that implies) they no doubt have calculated and accepted the body count.
“TxDOT spokeswoman Karen Othon said, “Nothing’s going to happen right now.”
Then stop spending money on this and tell us where the billion dollars TXDOT “lost” went!
Open Independent Audit of TXDOT now!
Well, the Cabo girls better not be TOO young-—To Catch a Preadtor might decide to go there.
You may be right. If it dies you can put the blame on the Texas DOT. It was oversold as a transforming trade corridor to the business community, with Cintra deal thrown in as a money saver.
However, the tone deaf Texas DOT did not anticipate how their attempts to market the road as an “international” trade corridor would play with the Texan and American people.
The combination of:
illegal immigration and a tone deaf Mexican government which refuses to understand why Americans are upset at Mexico’s dumping their surplus population across our border,
the Kelo decision,
People who blame NAFTA for the loss of their jobs,
The fact that Cintra is foreign owned,
The size of the corridor desired,
The Kansas City Mexican customs office,
and several other factors, have combined to poison the atmosphere for the road.
Texas DOT never has explained that this is a conventional interstate that could bring jobs to towns all along the corridor. Instead it is seen by the public as a massive land grab that will take jobs away, bring in hoards of illegal aliens, and be run by a foreign corporation that does not care about America and might even be hostile.
It’s a repeat of the Embarcadero Freeway debacle, build a road in such a way as to PO everyone around it and then be surprised that everyone hates you...
Or is it the “New Coke” of the interstate system?
Just keep telling yourself: It can’t happen here. It can’t happen here.
