First time I’ve heard of her or listened to her. Is she auditioning for “Guiding Light”. What a soft-spoken drama queen.

Perfect Syncro.

Thank you very much, bd.

We had a chance here at FreeRepublic by standing up with man that knew this. His name was Duncan Hunter.

It pains me to see how far our party has fallen. It has been taken over by RINOs. Sometimes I think this disease has been injected into some of the Freepers here. They can’t even figure out what the conservative position is anymore.

The President has also done some good things for this country.

The "No Child Left Behind" act is NOT one of them.

Amen. We appreciate his service to this country. He must be very blessed by God to have put up with the insanity some people in this country show.

give me a break. Worst President? He has a long list of historic and accomplished achievements. His first term was one of the best ever. His second has been much less than stellar. He has two things to his credit this term - judges and the surge strategy. The Surge was undertaken under intense pressure to waive the white flag. He did the right thing for the country despite incredible opposition. Other than those two items, this term has been crappy.

The President has also done some good things for this country.

I don’t think anyone’s really debating that. I still have a lot of admiration for him, despite some maddening differences.

Just sayin'.

“Our military families also sacrifice for America. They endure sleepless nights and the daily struggle of providing for children while a loved one is serving far from home. We have a responsibility to provide for them. So I ask you to join me in expanding their access to childcare, creating new hiring preferences for military spouses across the Federal Government, and allowing our troops to transfer their unused education benefits to their spouses or children. [applause] Our military families serve our Nation, they inspire our Nation, and tonight our Nation honors them.” [applause]
GWB cares about his own. We should not forget he flew jet interceptors in his younger years and did volunteer to join in the fray in NAM, but his training in F102's simply took him out of the race. Unlike a clown like Hanoi John, his bond has stayed strong with those that serve this nation in uniform.

And in Chicago, we’re surrounded
by them, aren’t we? I don’t even
allow myself to get into political
discussions any more. The brain-
washed are also blind and deaf.
