Oh, I do, I do. You would not believe all of the things that have happened to us since my daughter died. I could write a book. In fact, several people have told me I should since there is not that much out there about parents losing a child. In fact, I had over 100 pages started for one, then misplaced them and all of the other notes I had gotten together such as poems and songs. I even wrote to one publishing company and got permission from them to use any of their songs, Maybe one of these days.

Tell that to the folks on the
border right now, who are
refusing to allow the feds
to enforce eminent domain
and use part of their land
for the wall.

We, the US govt., is suing
them for that purpose.

Like I’d take your goofy claims seriously. You’ve discredited yourself with your senseless Bush-bashing and absurd claims.

That’s good points...it was pathetic to see Jack Cafferty reading what a disaster Bush is...4 of 5 letters he read were very negative about his legacy.

CNN.

Rush said he was asked to interview this AM by CNN but it was too early to warrant interrupting his sleep so only a handful of viewers could se him! LOL

She’s a nut.

She was in Nevada at a podium, and pronounced it Navato or something like that.

She looked like a Valley Girl, grabbing her head and went on and on trying to say Nevada.

She did NOT cover her gaff well.

She’s not wound that tight

Those quotes of yours were classic lack of political savvy.

She should go on the Tyra show.

To build a future of energy security, we must trust in the creative genius of American researchers and entrepreneurs and empower them to pioneer a new generation of clean energy technology. Our security, our prosperity, and our environment all require reducing our dependence on oil. Last year, I asked you to pass legislation to reduce oil consumption over the next decade, and you responded. Together we should take the next steps: Let us fund new technologies that can generate coal power while capturing carbon emissions. Let us increase the use of renewable power and emissions-free nuclear power. Let us continue investing in advanced battery technology and renewable fuels to power the cars and trucks of the future. Let us create a new international clean technology fund, which will help developing nations like India and China make greater use of clean energy sources. And let us complete an international agreement that has the potential to slow, stop, and eventually reverse the growth of greenhouse gases. This agreement will be effective only if it includes commitments by every major economy and gives none a free ride. The United States is committed to strengthening our energy security and confronting global climate change. And the best way to meet these goals is for America to continue leading the way toward the development of cleaner and more efficient technology.

Well, I'll give him credit, his proposals don't smack of loony-left socialism. It's collectivism, all right, and I still don't think it's necessary, but at least the yoke will be easy and the burden light, compared to miserable things like Kyoto and carbon-rationing schemes.

What IIIIIIIII would do, on the other hand, is to make all carbon-based fuels (including biofuels) international, investable commodities (which should probably happen, anyhow). Growing demand would drive the prices upward, and, along with the encouraged drilling and mining of the resources, people would naturally gravitate toward greater efficiency and other, non-carbon resources. Furthermore, this solution would be market-based, rather than centrally planned.

I know, I have the code saved already as it is a good and simple one for me.

It looks very nice. It’s dark to me but you know how this computer makes dark backgrounds very dark.

I had the delay at 200 and guess it was too slow but I was trying to hurry. Looks a nice size on the screen.

Do you go back in time to the Ford Presidency? I do. Mrs. Betty Ford became known for saying things about very personal family matters. At first she was fawned over by the media for being rather daring and “candid”. Later it became known that she was addicted to alcohol and pain pills. Somebody needs to watch out for Mrs. Obama, because I’m with you in worrying about someone who would talk that way.

Obama on Fox, definitely moving towards the center. No harsh criticism of Bush, said surge was reducing violence in Iraq, and that he supported Bush's move towards fiscal responsibility.

Obama is a good politician.

DNCNN stopped being relevent years ago. Why should Rush give them a bump.

Did they ever explain why they allowed Saddamn to buy them off to the point of hacking up one of their interns and dumping her body on her parents’ yard? There’s credibility.

Pray for W and Our Troops

The majority of FReepers that were interested in the primaries were for Hunter for a long time. We sent money and time pushing the guy but the MSM would not touch him. There is the great message that Hunter pushed that has been collected by the other candidates that will be on the agenda in the future. Duncan Hunter is young and he could come back in the next cycle.

It was surprising to see anyone have that much airtime on every single news channel (except for CNN Headline News). SOMEbody had to pay for that! I’ve never seen anything like that, before.

She (like others have surmised) must be looking for a VP place on the Dem ticket.

Why wasn’t a Republican on for ten minutes, immediately after the SOTU? Hmmmmmm......

Who or what would prevent Mrs. Obama from sharing overheard high level secrets if her "stinky" husband angered her.

i'm thinking she's talking about his habit of smoking... it's probably a bone of contention between them...
