(Washington, D.C.) A special one-night-only holiday pro-troop concert will honor America's military men and women this Friday, December 14, 2007 at 8:00 PM. The "A Song for Their Service" concert will take place at the historic Lincoln Theater in Washington, D.C. (1215 U Street NW).

The concert is open to the public, and ticket prices are $45 for all seats. There are less than 1,000 tickets available. Tickets can be obtained online - CLICK HERE TO ORDER TICKETS.

"A Song for Their Service" concert will feature top musical talent including country music superstar, Mark Wills; singer/songwriter, Melanie Dekker; Contemporary Christian artist, Russ Lee; patriotic sensation, Diana Nagy, and many others.

Honored guests in the audience will include wounded warriors from Walter Reed Medical Center and Bethesda Naval Hospital.

Performances by:

MARK WILLS - Country music superstar Mark Wills earned distinction for having eight top ten hits - including two #1 country singles, "Wish You Were Here" and "19 Somethin.'" Mark has been performing for our fighting men and women for years in Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea, and across America.

His new album, "Familiar Stranger" will be released in February. He is currently signed to country music legend Clint Black's Equity Records.

RUSS LEE - Russ Lee has been featured on 10 #1-hit singles with two of Christian music's most successful bands and has recorded 2 Top-5 hits as a solo performer.

An accomplished Christian singer, Russ remains eager and passionate in his style and proactive in his work. His Christmas album, "Hear Those Bells" was released in 2004, and he is currently promoting his new album, "The Best of Russ Lee."

MELANIE DEKKER - Melanie Dekker is a talented young singer-songwriter who has performed alongside some of the greatest talents in music including Diana Krall, and Faith Hill.

She attracted a devoted following among military families after the release of her poignant single, "Fall In" (Wounded Soldier) and has performed numerous times for U.S. troops.

She has captivated audiences with her unique musical voice which embodies both a laid back honesty and an intriguing intensity. She is currently on tour in Germany promoting her new album, "Revealed."

DIANA NAGY - Singer/songwriter Diana Nagy captured the attention of patriots everywhere with the release of "Where Freedom Flies" in 2007. The single was a commercial and critical success, earning praise and airplay on national and local radio stations as well as being featured in live performances by Diana on national and local television stations.

Diana's vocals evoke a spirit similar to a blend of Amy Grant and Celine Dion, and Diana has performed for audiences large and small almost her entire life. One of her most precious memories was when she earned the opportunity to sing for Pope John Paul II. Diana's debut album, "The Journey of Life," was released on November 27th.

LLOYD MARCUS - Known by his fans as, "The One and Only," Lloyd Marcus is an inspirational singer/songwriter who has a passionate love for his country.

He is perhaps best known for the patriotic song, "United We Stand," which he has performed at a number of patriotic, pro-troop events. Lloyd Marcus recently penned a song that is under consideration to become the new state song for Florida, titled "We Call Florida Home."

KAWEAH ANGEL - Ever since Kaweah Angel was asked to sing lead at a church Christmas special when she was 10-years old, Kaweah has been wowing audiences with her sensational voice and unmatched timber.

With a series of albums under her belt, Kaweah has captured the magic of life, faith and support for our troops in song. Her performances have been captured on television and radio and she has performed for crowds as diverse as a church congregation to crowds gathered along the route of cross-country pro-troop tours.

CHRISTY ANN - A choir singer since kindergarden, Christy Ann developed her vocal skills at a young age with numerous local musical and theatrical performances. As a young adult she set aside her musical dreams as many people do, to pursue simpler dreams of a family and a regular life.

However, after moving to Oklahoma in 2004, Christy began writing again and performing her unique style of country music with strong and compelling messages of struggle and hope, highlighted in her amazing song "Walking Into The Wind".

JASMINE - Jasmine Marie Bland is an inspirational teen phenomenon that was born in The Fiji Islands. By the age of eleven, she was competing and winning local talent competitions. By the time she was in her mid teens, Jasmine was performing in sold out concerts in Fiji for charitable foundations.

Her career propelled after a multitude of spectacular public performances, school concerts, and media appearances. Jasmine signed with B# (Sharp) Records in 2007 which has released her first single, "I'll Always B There 4 U".

There are only a limited number of tickets available for this magical holiday concert.

They stopped in Raleigh about mid-day yesterday (12th). Diana has one helluva voice! I wish the crowd had been larger, but there were still a few patriots who signed cards, waved the Stars & Stripes and shared the holiday spirit!

Our troops NEVER get enough USO-type support so a big “Whoooo!” for these performers trying to give them some. I’d like to spotlight Toby Keith, Joan Jett and Ted Nugent as hardcore entertainers who’ve actually flown in while battles were in progress. Props must also be extended to Al Franken - who’s proven his patriotism over his politics by going nearly every year to any location.

My father was a professional magician who took a total anti-social bent after taking a scab gig and getting the crap beaten out of him for attempting to cross a picket line. This guy was so flipped out that he had me dressed up as debilitated Igor from the Frankenstein movies to do a few tricks - perfectly acceptable to most audiences - but when it came to his tax-saving Christmas “charity” audience of crippled and mentally retarded people he failed to see that was wrong. He got angry when I ditched the getup and performed as a person and failed to understand that depicting a chained “gimp” could be seen as insulting to those who can’t take the chains and make-up off at will. Those unfortunates appreciated my weak tricks and flourishes despite the lack of getup and I would have liked to get acquainted with them if not for being dragged out on my ear.

Sorry folks - nearly every Christmas in my formative years was associated with psychological trauma. I make it a point to do something great for someone or group whenever possible each Christmas to prevent similar horrors occurring to them. Each of you you reading this are hereby tasked to do something to make someone in lesser circumstances have a better Yule than they expected. It’s not just Christian...its a civil responsibility.

Thanks!

If anyone knows a wounded warrior at Walter Reed or Bethesda, please let them know about the concert tonight at the Lincoln Center. MAF would like them and their families to attend as their honored guests.
