Youve all been following the moonbat-influenced decision by NBC to turn down pro-troops public service ads from Freedoms Watch.
The Peacock Network says the ads were too political. Because, you know, simply saying thank you to the troops and asking others to do the same is just like calling an American general a traitor or exploiting the death toll in Iraq which MoveOn.org did in an ad that ran on the Today Show, according to Newsbusters.
After enduring a nationwide backlash, it seems NBC may be flip-flopping. Drudge reports:
Under pressure from outraged viewers, NBC has reversed its decision not to air the Freedoms Watch ads thanking troops..
Stay tuned
to anything but NBC.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
It is good they are doing this, but no reason to let up. These folk are dedicated to the cause of the enemy. Letting them up off the floor means we just gotta fight them again as soon as they catch their breath.
I will not watch it on NBC, if ti airs - I will wait for some enterprising soul to post it on Freerepublic.
NBC does not deserve the ratings.

Entrenched anti-conservative bias at NBC? I am speechless...
The Majority Accountability Project has found that the NBC lawyer who refused to allow a non-profit group to air an advertisement thanking American troops for their service has donated at least $45,000 to a host of Congressional Democrats, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, New York Senator Hillary Clinton and the campaign committees of House and Senate Democrats.
According to a Fox News report, Richard Cotton, the general counsel for NBC/Universal, was one of two network officials who decided not to sell ad time to Freedoms Watch, which describes itself as a nonpartisan movement dedicated to preserving, protecting, and defending conservative principles and promoting a conservative agenda.
You can already see it on YouTube.
in a statement issued Saturday evening, NBC said:
"We have reviewed and changed our ad standards guidelines and made the decision that our policy will apply to content only and not to a referenced Web site. Based on these amended standards the Freedom's Watch ad will begin to run as early as Sunday."
NBC' head of standards and practices, Alan Wurtzel, notified Freedom's Watch's media consultant Saturday by e-mail, writing: "This will confirm that the Freedom's Watch spot is approved for air."

All 3 broadcast channels are pretty disgusting but none as bad as NBC and General Electric who owns this lizard.
I really wish that Freedom’s Watch would now move the ad budget elsewhere.
....why not go to the source to register your disgust?...NBC is owned by General Electric....e-mail ‘em and tell ‘em how you feel:

show others this site too.
Guess jane may lose that walter cronkite Award;)
The faster NBC fades out and goes into oblivion, the better off America and the world will be.
Nothing But Crap will be going down the Dinosaur Media Cesspool drain in due time.
Yes, you most certainly can - along with Newt’s blasting commentary!
Same here - I will never watch NBC again ever, no matter who or what they are showing. This was simply the last straw for me!
Thank you for the contact info...they got my two cents worth!!
Actually, they’re going to lose a LOT of money because of my PERMANENT Boycott!
Traitors!
The anti-USA/anti-Bush spammers are already starting.
It is good they are doing this, but no reason to let up
So true...no such thing as a fair fight...so as long
as they’re down kick’em in the ribs
Done.
I said the partisan lawyer should be fired...
Liberal reply, “We’re sorry, we were only trying to keep the mean-spirited Republicans from hurting the fealings of those American families who have had to endure the hardship of Bush’s policies.”
Hey — you can watch the spots at Freedom Watch’s website.
did they write editorial authority into the contract?
it wasn’t the ad they had trouble with, necessarily. it was that the ad displayed the url for Freedom Watch’s website. nbc was afraid that anyone who watched the ad would see the url and would be inclined to visit the site, and be instantly transformed into an evil conservative.
I haven't watch NBC since Johnny Carson retired.

Re NBC Richard Cotton's denial of "Thank You" adds to our troops
Richard Cotton and other NBC executives who are Democratic operatives/contributors continue to mock the sacrifice of my son and other soldiers serving our country by refusing to accept Thank You adds to our troops. Cotton's and fellow NBC executive's hatred of those who sacrifice so much will not be forgotten.
I'll be sending to all my email lists an appeal to refuse to watch NBC and to refrain from buying GE products.
Your refusal to support my son deserves our refusal to support NBC and GE. It is unfortunate that NBC is known to be "Nothing But Crap." GE should be GR as in "Good Riddance."
In disgust,
Name
So NBC refused the Freedom Watch ad but allowed one from MoveOn.Organ?
How freaking transparent can they get?
Wasn't it Groucho Marx who said, "These are my principles. And if you don't like these principles . . . I have others."
