11/09/2007 Kerry Spokesman Sets Limbaugh Straight on Swiftboat Smears
WASHINGTON D.C. – Kerry spokesman David Wade issued the following statement today in response to Rush Limbaugh, who said on his radio show that Kerry’s Swift Boat attackers in 2004, “were right on the money and nobody has disproven anything they claimed in any of their ads, statements, written commentaries, or anything of the sort.”
“At first I thought, that’s not Rush, that’s just the OxyContin talking. Nonetheless, this is a despicable but unsurprising new lie from a man whose closest brush with combat came when customs officials tried to take away his Viagra. This portly peddler of hate is once again wrong on the facts. John Kerry served his country with honor in Vietnam, and has fought for his fellow veterans ever since. The lies and smears of the Swift Boat Veterans for Bush were disproved conclusively in 2004 by the men who fought by John Kerry’s side in Vietnam, by the military’s own records, by investigative journalists, and by the incredible contradictions that exposed these right wing smear artists. It is long past time that we end the politics of fear and smear that we have seen used against decorated veterans from John McCain to Max Cleland and John Kerry. Rush Limbaugh’s ignorance and determination to divide Americans is just another reminder that you can’t spell ‘Rush Limbaugh’ without the letters L-I-A-R.”

Gosh. All Kerry does is attack Rush. No defense from his Form 180. No rebuttal of the facts laid out well in the book.

So they had 3 1/2 years to come up with an answer, and this is the best the Kerry people could do? Bwahahahahaha!!
Thank Heaven for the Swift Boaters. They were effective, but they dealt only with a side issue. The big issues are the nature of Kerry’s original discharge and the treason he committed by meeting with the enemy in Paris, while still in uniform.

Actually Kerry couldn’t set anyone straight on anything. Kerry so habitually lies, he doesn’t even know what is true and what is fake any more.
All these people can do is sling mud at their political opponents. If the truth bears Kerry out, why doesn’t his spokesman just speak it? The fact is, Kerry is on videotape smearing his fellow Vietnam veterans while the war was still going on. He can’t duck or lie about that, much as he’d like to.
If this were coming from Ann Coulter about a recovering liberal she would be accused of vicious hate mongering.

Yup..........Out of all the guys that served with Kerry, I think two of them supported him. All the rest confirmed what the Swifters said and there were a bunch of them.

I always know they’ve been caught in a lie when the Dems start their ‘well-reasoned refutation’ by libeling the speaker. In a way, this is encouraging, because it shows that they still don’t understand that there isn’t anybody in this country with an IQ above room temperature who doesn’t see through that stuff.

I could care less about the “he said, she said” nonsense Kerry is involved with. When he stands trial for the treason he committed during Vietnam .... then I will be happy until then the bugger can rot and burn in hell.

This prevaricator (Kerry) and all of his minions (leased and otherwise) need to be still and of their own accord depart from us; to exist in perpetual silent self-exile.
In part II of their book, "Unfit for Command", they did thoroughly discuss Kerry's meeting with the enemy in Paris and his other anti-war and treasonous activities.
Unfortunately, the lame stream media never talked much about part II of the book. They only talked about part I, Kerry's and the Swiftboatvets time in Vietnam. I don't remember the lame stream media giving any coverage to Kerry's trip to Paris or his other anti-war activities after he returned. They gave Kerry cover in not discussing Kerry's meeting with the Communists in Paris.
Also, other than Kerry's infamous speech before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in 1971, I can't remember the Swiftboatvets mentioning Kerry's trip to Paris or other anti-war/treasonous activities in any of their commercials that they wrote about in part II of their book.

Yeah, and he was sent there by PRESIDENT Nixon in DECEMBER 1968, when Nixon wasn't sworn in until January 1969. Talk about Kerry's "fact-checking". . . .
It was more than that...but it was only those that served on his boat, and whom he later did favors for...and not even all of those. All the others in his flotilla who said anything of him disputed him. He was also forced to concede everal major parts of his accounts, and his own diary conceded others.
