Cinnamon Genome Cat Bump
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Perhaps they’ll find the gene for mooching and then learn how to correct it in humans.
(Shhhhh . . . don’t tell my cats I said that!)

A dreamer of pictures, she runs in the night, chasing the moonlight, that cinnamon cat. |

“One thing I’d like to discover is the genes for good behaviour in the cats - the genes for domestication, the things that make them not want to kill our children but play with them,” he added.
Dude, I can tell you that one right now. It’s the gene that makes them 10 times smaller than us. If the size ratios were reversed, we’d be prey. It’s not that they don’t *wan’t* to eat us, it’s that they’re at a loss to drag our carcasses up a tree for safe snacking. Nothing more.
But look out if they ever evolve opposable thumbs. Then we’ll have outlived our usefulness as their servants. :-D
