Kind of like treating your septic system to get it working right.

‘Donor Stool’ would be a great screen name.

*That* should go over like a turd in a punch bowl.

Oh ... wait ... it *is* a turd in a punch bowl(!)

"In other words, eat s*** and...live?"

My 14 year old mostly deaf and blind Daschshund, Mickey, has been practicing this bad habit for the better part of a year now.

Ahh as far as I understand it, those friendly bacteria can be reintroduced into the gut simply by eating good healthy yogurt full of probiotics and taking some probiotic supplements. This story smells like you know what.

It smells like something socialized medicine would embrace, regardless of its origin. The accountants are in rapture.

Their government feeds them so much of it all the time, they decided to finally get the people used to the idea and be honest.

This same method was used about thirty years ago commonly in horses that developed chronic diarrhea after the administration of a regimen of antibiotics. We’d mix a pile of feces into a bucket with yogurt and puree it and pump it into the horses’ stomach. Worked for them.....

There is only a 30 to 40% success ratio on the antibiotics used such as Flagyl or Vancocin. For many folks that have C Dif there may be no other cure at the moment.

I think I will stick to the nasty pills I am on. I’ve done plenty in my life but theres no way possible I’m trying this. I would have to be in a coma & when I woke up (if I woke up) I wouldn’t ever to want to know about this treatment!

I have read a lot about the Civil War, and am amazed at the number of horrendous wounds men endured on the battlefield, in filthy conditions.

There were many amputations in field hospitals, and the rate of those who survived in those conditions is astounding to me.

Also, there were no septic tanks, municipal sewer systems, on these battlefields.

I’m sure there have been many studies and data compiled about this. Just a thought when reading this article.
