Cool reception for Mr. Gore's Nobel
Orange County Register ^ | October 13 2007

The real 'ticking time bomb' is his combination of power politics and scary science.

Former Vice President Al Gore, who says he "used to be the next president of the United States," has won the Nobel Peace Prize for advancing scary half-truths, flat-out errors and politically inspired schemes about global warming. We congratulate Mr. Gore and hope it's some personal consolation.

Nevertheless, we're uninspired as Mr. Gore takes his place alongside Yasser Arafat and Kofi Annan, similarly honored with credentials of similar substance.

“Jimmah” Carter is also on the list of losers the Euros want to prop up.

The “prize” had become a complete joke.

I understand he gets $1.5 million for winning. Now maybe he can pay his utility bill this month...

That should sting a bit.

You're in the gold on that one. Word is that he'll be donating half of the $1.5 mill to something called the Alliance for Climate Protection -- a Palo-Alto based not-for-profit (cough) outfit chaired by, wait for it, one Albert Arnold Gore.

These people really get to me, their crap just goes on and on. There is no end to it and they continually get away with it.

Somehow it has got to be stopped, each time they get away with some crappy deal they get more ambition to go on to another one.

God bless him. King Al is doing the work for the globe that earth hating conservatives won’t.

Just a minute, every 1500 years we have a shift. Where the hell were the SUV’s showing up during every up swing?

A Nobel Prize DOES NOT make a lie a truism!!! Carbon trading is a farce. The UN is not the government of the United States.

Reduce our dependency on Middle East Oil! That’s a huge start towards freedom. Unfortunately it will not happen.

Well, he comes close.

AlGore's global warming schtick is often referred to as a religion.

He SHOULD get a Nobel prize for being the high priest of The Religion of Fleece.

On the upside for Man-Bear-Pig (Al Bore) is that he can hang his Nobel Peace Prize Diploma on his wall - where his Divinity Degree would have been had he not FLUNKED OUT of school!
