According to a study to be published in the Journal of Athletic Training, in high school soccer, girls sustained concussions 68 percent more often than boys did. Female concussion rates in high school basketball were almost three times higher than among boys.
Girls also consistently took longer for their symptoms to resolve and to return to play. The study, conducted by researchers at Ohio State University and Nationwide Children’s Hospital, examined data submitted by 425 certified athletic trainers across the United States during the 2005-06 academic year. According to the National Federation of High School Sports Associations, 1 million youngsters play high school basketball and 700,000 play high school soccer each year; male participation is only slightly higher than among girls.

Doctors are also uncertain as to why documented rates of concussion among high school girls are consistently higher than boys’ in the same sports. The primary theory is that girls might be more honest in reporting injuries — though experts are confident that many girls, just like boys, hide injuries either because they aren’t aware of the risks or because they simply don’t want to miss playing time. Other rationales include the fact that girls’ neck muscles are less developed than boys’, providing less shock absorption during impact.

They also should not be seen in public unescorted and should cover their faces at all times. Nor own propety. We can drop the domestic abuse laws, too. And they go to school for how many years to become doctors? Lol.
Knee and leg injuries among female athletes are also markedly higher also I believe. Maybe we should start listening to what female bodies are telling us? Naa. Elitist feminists will attack you for suggesting such.
I know someone else has to be thinking this, but could it be that girls are just a little less coordinated as a group and hence fall down on their heads more?
So true, so true. And if you keep them chained to the stove as I do, you don’t have to worry about them wondering off doing the devil’s work, constituted by any engaging in any outside activity.

The center of gravity is different on females, than male, so it kind of could have something to do with it.
I don’t know about excluding women from sports. I absolutely love watching my niece play college basketball. She is a sophomore and the second leading scorer on her team. She can control the ball, do fast breaks, throw bullet passes and everything else. I also love watching the girls run on our school cross country team. We have one girl whose time is faster than all of the boys.
