Tonight we had a special appearance by Darth Cheney, who was ready to slay liberals anywhere!
THE RIGHT WING CONSPIRACY IS BACK AND IT'S BETTER THAN EVER!
Honor Roll of Attendees:
Tom the Redhunter, A Conservative Realist, Albion Wilde, Kristinn, tgslTakoma, Jimmy Valentine's Brother, Mr & Mrs Trooprally, Fraxinus, Sensi Ern, VictoryNY, Lurker Bill, 2nd Class Citizen, BillF, Plea Deal, Cindy-True-Supporter, VAFlagWaver, PrezUSA222, Brad & April with friend DellBabe68, all from Texas, Ingrid, Eric and daughter Carolyn, all from Hagerstown MD, and of course "Darth Cheney", aka 3DJoy
As is our usual custom, we gathering in the parking lot across from the main entrance to Walter Reed Army Medical Center in northwest Washington DC. We set about assembling our many flags and banners, and before long Old Glory (or should I say Glories?) was waving above the MOAB
Things really got rollong when our greatest cheerleader for the troops arrived, VictoryNY! Here she is, letting out one of her war cries
VictoryNY! lends a lot of enthusiasm to our gathering. Her voice booms throughout the intersection, and I'm sure the Pinkos down the street hate her. So much the better.
The Out-of-Towners
Here is April and her friend DellBabe68 , both from Texas. We see April every month or so when she's in town, but this is DellBabe68's first time.
And here's Brad
In the foreground is Carolyn, and behind her dad Eric and mother Ingrid.
Something for the Libs to Think About
During all their blather about "peace", have they ever considered the truisms in this sign? No.
They forget that the Civil War was quite controversial at the time, the Democrats having bailed by 1864. Yet who today could imagine not wanting to free the slaves? While today we remember World War II at least partially as a war to end the concentration camps, few thought of it that way at the time.
National POW-MIA RecognitionDay
I didn't know it at the time, but as it turns out, Friday was National POW-MIA Recognition Day

What It's All About
Here are the busses with the troops and their families. No matter what the weather, and whether we are many or few, we make sure we give them the most enthusiastic welcome possible.
Come join us every Friday night between the hours of 6:30pm to approx 9:30pm.
Directions to our Walter Reed freep location from the Takoma metro station
* You can find all of Mrs Trooprally's photos for this Freep on her Photobucket site.
* Thank you to BufordP for maintaining the BIG LIST of all Walter Reed FReeps.
* Thank you always to Kristinn and tgslTakoma for all the work they do. Kristinn is president of the DC chapter and our chief organizer, and tgslTakoma hauls the MOAB, flags, most of the signs, and our "picnic table" back and forth every week. Thank you to Mr & Mrs Trooprally because they also transport and store many of our signs and banners.

Wish I could have been there with ya all.
It was a truly awesome experience for me and my daughter on Sept. 14 th.
We’ll make the trip to DC again sometime in the future to participate in the WR FReep.:)
Thank you DC chapter for all you do.

FReepmail me to be added to/deleted from this once-weekly Walter Reed ping list.
You were awesome to come all the way across the country to be with us on Sept 14-15, Mrs.Nooseman! We're thinking of you, too!

Can’t wait to see what ya’ll do for Halloween ! )
It was my pleasure and wouldn’t have missed this opportunity to honor and support our troops.
We will make this trip again in the future.:)
Whew! We wondered if we were going to get this report.
3D’s Darth Cheney was extra special as she was headed back to Florida. Her drt wit will be missed.
I hope everyone gets the Darth Cheney. Someone had to explain it to me. I have to keep up with current events.
Extreme blessings upon everyone who turned out to support our troops.
Nice job on the AAR, Tom! Dellbabe68 is from NYC though, not from Texas. Although we welcome her any time she wants to come! ;^)
It was great fun and so nice to see my friends, the regulars again. Thanks so much for holding the line on a weekly basis. I can’t wait to return!!
Darth Cheney, you’re awesome!! lol
Hi all, the FReep was a blast!! I’m from NYC and it’s my second time, but who’s counting?! I hope to come again in Feb or so. Thank you to those who set this up every week. You guys are so important. I am appreciative of being able to participate. Thanks!!

Thanks to all of you for finding the time and energy to show the troops that there are Americans who respect them and are grateful for what they do.
My mother just passed away today...we had been expecting her to pass on this week sometime, and tough woman that she was, she just hung on.
My two brothers, my nephew and I will be traveling to Washington DC sometime in the next two months to bury her remains beside my father, who has been in Arlington since 2000.
I have suggested to all of them that we join the DC Chapter outside Walter Reed on Friday night when we do come down...and they readily agreed. I hope to see all of you again when we do.
Rack Darth Cheney YEAH BABY LOLOLOL!
lol
