Umbrage Lag - Two weeks on, Hillary condemns the MoveOn ad.

During Hillary Clinton's marathon of television performances Sunday, she was asked yet again about the MoveOn.org newspaper ad that questioned Gen. David Petraeus' truthfulness. Clinton had already been asked about the ad four times previously, but this time she had a new answer: She denounced it. "I don't condone anything like that, and I have voted against those who would impugn the patriotism and the service of the people who wear the uniform of our country," she told Tim Russert. "I don't believe that that should be said about General Petraeus, and I condemn that."

25 Senate Democrats Support "Betray Us," Including Hillary

Talk about brazen, regardless, it's getting hard to tell title from subtitle.

She can have it both ways, confident the media won’t call her on it. Or, short of that, she will try to explain as Kerry did that her answers are full of nuance which you idiots are too stupid to comprehend.

So, depending on her audience, she can say she was for or against whatever it is she is being asked to take a stand on, confident that whatever she says will never be painted by the media as hypocrisy or a flip-flop.

Oh, the time-lag won't matter for Hillary. . .in a few months; whenever this ad is mentioned; she will be the first to say that she 'condemed it'(!). . .and no one will argue the point of her time-line.

So. . .when world spotlight is on Ahmadinejad. . .Hillary drops a sound-bite re Moveon. ..

Her answers are full of something. “Nuance” isn’t the word I would use, however.

She had to wait until she got clearance from the staff at the Daily KOS, MoveOn.org, and their backer, George Soros.

Her vote speaks louder than her politically motivated post facto condemnation of MoveOn. Talk is cheap coming from ALL politicians. If you want to know where they stand, check their voting record.

Bald-face lie...

This issue serves as a handy example of the simple fact that the democrats are basically anti Americans who are always willing to put party over country, and yes I certainly do question their patriotism. They can not be allowed to redefine patriotism as undermining our war fighters. That never was patriotism and it never will be.

“I supported that ad before I opposed that ad.” - HRC Only a Clinton could get away with this. I’ll bet she does.

Once again Hillary has used her finely tuned sense of right and wrong to quickly assess a situation and align herself with goodness and decency.

"We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."

"We must stop thinking of the individual and start thinking about what is best for society.”

"It's time for a new beginning, for an end to government of the few, by the few, for the few, and to replace it with shared responsibility for shared prosperity."

"We can't just let business as usual go on, and that means something has to be taken away from some people."

"We have to build a political consensus and that requires people to give up a little bit of their own turf in order to create this common ground."

"I certainly think the free market has failed."

"I think it's time to send a clear message to what has become the most profitable sector [oil] in the entire economy, that they are being watched."

"What I want to do is take those profits and apply them to alternative energy."

Karl Marx or Frederick Engels said none of these things; Hillary Clinton said them all.

So did Timmy Russert then ASK HER why she didn't vote to condemn the ad?

I bet not. She'll never be called on her lies by the MSM.

Hillary Clinton 'could cost Democrats dear'

DEMS' 'FAIRY DUST' ENERGY PLAN

Turning Oil into Salt - We must become independent.

We need energy independence. Our current account deficit is absurd with the current price for a barrel of oil. We're making Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Venezuela, etc. rich with our current energy policy. Subsidized, corn derived ethanol is dumb.

From time to time, I’ll ping on noteworthy articles about politics, foreign and military affairs. FReepmail me if you want on or off my list.

Too little, too late.

Thanks neverdem, for this and the link.
