Democrats Succumb To MoveOn Jackals (Melanie Morgan Says Dems Under Thumb Of Extreme Left Alert)

The backlash over MoveOn.org's vile advertisement this week attacking Gen. David Petraeus has the jackals of the left sniffing around for a way out.

The brainiacs at MoveOn.org probably giggled like school boys with forbidden magazines when they paid the reduced price for the New York Times' advertisement that had bold letters under a picture of Petraeus spelling out, "General Petraeus or General Betray Us?"

It should be no surprise that the Times published the anti-American ad. Executive Editor Bill Keller has allowed reporters to publish national security secrets repeatedly in his rag when we are engaged in a hot war.

You see, here in America, we may act like we're not paying attention – but needlessly attack a military hero who is trying to protect us from radical Muslim jihadists and you are gonna learn how to spell the word B-A-C-K-L-A-S-H.

Part of the Democrats' problem with this fiasco is that the party has aligned itself with the leftist losers instead of the Reagan Democrats. The Democrat candidates for president run like hungry puppies whenever radical groups like DailyKos come calling. Democrat leaders have lost their way, and they look to sick, unpatriotic people to mold their positions on war and speak for them.

I shouldn't be surprised, but I AM by the intense stupidity among those who attack the military as if it's the only position to take. These folks expect that OF COURSE you agree with them in not trusting the military.

This has nothing to do with the healthy skepticism we all should have regarding government, and everything to do with the need for some to appear cool and unaffected by whatever are the truly important issues of the day.

MoveOn's ad targets those folks, and the MorOns seem to think the US population is made up of like-minded idiots just like those who post at DU.

It's all about point of view. The libs are in complete denial about the post-9/11 world. They try to appeal to Americans' good natures by saying there are no truly evil people in the world other than white men who have some money--everyone else would be getting along just fine if it wasn't for people like George Bush. Islamofascists who kill women and homosexuals? Aw, that's just a few no-goodnicks who REALLY just need a hug, etc.

This mindset infests the left, but they try to pretty it up so the moderate Americans who want to assume the best of anyone.

The libs and these moderates are in denial for one reason only: The truth is scary. The truth is, there is a religioin that is hundreds of millions strong that stands for things we do not. There is a growing infiltration of our nation by people who are different from us, which is not bad in itself until they wish to impose their way on us. There are people who may not support blowing us up, but they do support our "conversion."

As an atheist I frequently run into very hostile atheists who berate me for holding these positions, and I'll repeat something I've posted here before, which is what I say in these situations. I ask if the person agrees that the huge majority of Americans are of a Judeo-Christian background, and they agree. I point out that this means our government on all levels is thus run by folks with this background, and they agree.

I then say, "So if overnight all those followers of the Judeo-Christian traditions were suddenly replaced by Muslims, how would you feel? Do you think our society would be so free, so protective of the rights of diverse people. so free FROM religion?"

(You can predict the reactions I get.)

My point in bringing this up in this context is that MoveOn is doing precisely what I WANT the Left to do. I WANT them to reveal who they really are.

Only by having them come out in the open can we hope to win enough moderates to our cause to insure that when the next 9/11 happens, we will respond as we should, and not as the Democrats would have us respond--which will be by saying we brought this on ourselves.

the “american electorate” loves the left. they love the three or four word slogans that emanate from communist headquarters. they love the class warfare. they love the concept of high taxes to get back at “the rich”. above all, they love the clintons and their irresponsibility and will elect them again.

the “american people” think they’ve been lied to since the beginning and they will elect leftist revolutionaries every time. it makes them think they’re brilliant.

hold on to your pocketbook and your constitution. the tyrants are coming; the tyrants who think that the u.s. military is made up of stupid people and that everything belongs to “the people”.
