Thanks so much to all of you who helped me welcome Tim Johnson back to the Senate last week after 9 months of rehabilitation, contributing more than $24,000 to his re-election campaign! Our community was at the top of the charts among Democratic Senators supporting Tim online last week -- showing how much you care and are committed to making a difference.
It's crucial that Tim has enough funding to run a powerful campaign in South Dakota against any Republican challenger, especially in today's narrowly divided Senate. We can't afford to let the Republicans replace Tim with a rubber stamp Republican who will stand by as a tragic war continues, health care costs skyrocket, and our environment continues to be so carelessly degraded.
As I mentioned before, Tim is one of the most respected members of the Senate today. He is not one to seek out the cameras or the spotlight. Tim works tirelessly for people who struggle to make ends meet, and it was wonderful seeing him come back to the Senate with such enthusiasm and strength last week.
We desperately need Tim's voice and his vote -- now and in the years to come. Thanks to you, his campaign is already off to a strong start. I'm so proud of what you did, and Tim asked me to be sure to pass along his gratitude as well. Thank you!

Not quite. Two votes for the democrat position. You are behind the times on democrat vote counting.
The point is that no matter how its beeped the Rats count it for their position.
