This land is mine (The Elvira Arellano sanctuary saga)
World Net Daily ^ | August 27, 2007 | Barbara Simpson

Yes, this land (the United States of America) is my land, and I don't plan to give it up easily. In fact, I don't plan to give it up at all, nor do I plan to give it away.

Those words, with that emphasis, have clear meaning. I speak as an American citizen and for fellow citizens who value our country and our citizenship.

We won't give up what's ours and what has been preserved with the lives and blood of millions who fought to protect what we have and what our freedoms make possible.

Those four words constitute the opening line of the lyrics of the theme of the 1960 film "Exodus" and refer to the establishment of the state of Israel. Ernest Gold wrote the music and won an Oscar for his effort. Once you've heard it, you never forget it.

What you might not know is that Pat Boone (yes, that Pat Boone) wrote the lyrics and the second line is "God gave this land to me."

That the Israelis have a deep connection with their land and God is clear.

The last line is "This land is mine until I die." There's no equivocation.

My exact sentiments about the USA.

Would that the U.S. had a movie with such a powerful theme song that would impress on our citizens the importance of our land. Would that we had the courage to stand up against those in our midst who are willing to sell us out, betray our fallen patriots and defraud our children's' future.

Thirty-two-year-old Elvira Arellano is a perfect example of the insolence of foreigners who break our laws and demand no consequence to their illegal acts.

In 1997, the Mexican citizen illegally entered the U.S. and went to Washington state.

UNIFY AND FOCUS OUR MOVEMENT NOW !

-- Emma Lozano, presidente Pueblo sin Fronteras
-- Elvira Arellano, presidente La Familia Latina Unida

"We have shown that we are not only for protecting the rights of the undocumented but we are struggling for Latinos to become a voice for justice for all of Latin America. We have supported self-determination and opposed assimilation into this nation’s individualistic, imperialistic values. We have taught that our people did not come here because of the American Dream but because of what the American nightmare did to our countries of origin. We have asserted that our demand to be here and to be fully enfranchised here is a right not a privilige and a destiny of our people to transform this nation."

"Insolence" just doesn't seem to be a strong enough word, does it?

For those who argue illegals want to become American, Arellano's comment proves them wrong.

When she took sanctuary to avoid deportation, she said, in Spanish: "I only have two choices. I either go to my country, Mexico or stay and keep fighting. I decided to stay and fight."

So, she wants to change our laws, her country remains Mexico, and after seven years here, she still speaks Spanish.

A quote from the article, this says it all. I'm sick of these people being here and our government officials not doing their job.

I made a bundle carrying drugs into the US for the cartel, and Western Union helped me launder, then convert drug money to pesos, to send to Acapulco where ai's buying several luxury condos. Thank you, again, El Presidente Boosh. Ai's glad youse had a latino nanny."

After deportation, Elvira's first move was to address the Mexican legislature (where she criticized the United States).

It appears Elvira is trying to influence the measures or conduct of Mexico WRT disputes or controversies with the United States, and/or trying to defeat the measures of the United States in collusion with the Mexican government.

=======================================

Elvira appears to have no visible means of support (Other than the US govt freebies El Presidente Boosh is sending to Elvira----including moltiple UI and Workman's Comp checks, SS# retirement checks under several names, her son Saul's SSI checks (for his ADD), EITC tax refunds under several ID's, and also multiple welfare checks under different names plus the bundle she made carrying drugs into the US for the cartel, that Western Union helped launder, then convert drug money to pesos, to send to Acapulco where she's buying several luxury condos).

Is Elvira in the employ of the Mexican government?

We know illegal invaders are sending as much as $50 billion US dollars per year back to their home countries. The money is gained from illegal employment....and for all we know....from SS fraud, drug deals, tax evasion, ID theft, and other criminal activities.

Who in these foreign countries is getting a cut of the $50 billion?

It would be easy for the US government to trace monies from the point of departure at Western Union to determine whether WU is aiding in the hiding and conversion and transmission of the invaders illegal cash to legitimate funds............and who, on the other end, is receiving the monies.

ALL international WU money transfers need to be filtered and siezed as necessary to discern the money trail from the invaders on US soil, to Mexico, and Central and South American governments.

========================================

We know our politicians are pandering idiots, sucking up to these invaders for a few votes. We demand politicians obey the constitution they were sworn to uphold. We demand they do something.

American citizens are losing their savings/homes/futures......while freeloading illegal invaders own homes in the countries they emanate from, have cash in the bank, and are riding the US gravy train, sponging-off hardworking US citizens.

============================================

We need to determine whether these illegal invaders are agents of foreign governments, and whether they should be prosecuted for undermining the US government.

=======================================

BACKUP In June 2007, Representative Steve King introduced legislation that would prohibit Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi from traveling to Syria in violation of the Logan Act. The amendment was not adopted. The Logan Act is a United States federal law that forbids unauthorized citizens from negotiating with foreign governments. It was passed in 1799 and last amended in 1994. Violation of the Logan Act is a felony, punishable under federal law with imprisonment of up to three years.

Oh really Elvira?? How ‘bout us just ignoring Mexico’s laws and take your land for its resources? Have you heard of treaties with your country?? Do you agree with treaties?? Sovereignty? Nah, I guess not.

And this: How about the Mixtec, Toltec, Aztec, Mayan and other tribes displaced/conquered by the Conquistadores, Hmmmmmm? Most Hispanics I speak with on this issue start out claiming “Spanish” blood (very proudly), then as we get into this issue, they find themselves in a corner. I enjoy the conundrum they create for themselves on this. LOL!

Political correctness will end up devouring the person espousing such untenable positions, it always will. PC must ultimately arrive at a point where it is to be physically enforced if the PCers are in power, they call that Socialism/Communism/Marxism/Nazism/Facism.

Or as we used to say “a lotta nerve”. Japanese would call this attitude “keshikaran”, which is widely hated. A sense of entitlement that is almost unimagineable, it makes you want to SCREAM!

I realize that this may be a bit off topic here - but I am starting to speak out and this is where I start.

I live in O.C. California born and raised here. This place was great in the 60s and 70s. The influx of immigrants - legal and illegal - has changed neighborhoods and cities. It seems that every time a house goes on the market an American family leaves and an (usually legal) immigrant family moves in.

I don’t blame them for leaving. Our quality of life is ruined here. Our neighborhoods are becoming noisy, dirty and dangerous - Third World neighborhoods. We used to have neighbors that we could discuss problems with and count on to be decent Americans. Now - if they answer the door - you get hostility and disdain.

We are now outsiders in our own country. This is the reality of immigration.

To say that we are a country of immigrants is an absurd argument. My people came over in the 1840s and contributed greatly to the growth of this country. There was room for growth and all were Americanized quickly because they knew that that helped them get ahead.

Now we are overcrowded and running out of resources. Immigrant societies are remaining closed and have strong ties to their former countries. I know Americans are driven out of business because they don’t cheat or bribe as some foreigners do.

Here store shelves are often empty - where even a few years ago this was never the case. Traffic is a nightmare. I have been almost hit twice on my own street in the past year because certain immigrants back out of their driveways without looking. Street traffic is worse and laws are no longer being obeyed by many drivers - mostly foreign.

The macroeconomic arguments for immigration carry no weight with me - because if our lives suffer as they have - then who cares if you can buy lettuce for a buck. I would rather pay more and have a better life.

Soon they will spread to most areas in this country and you will know what I am talking
about.

My policy would be :

1. Close borders
2. Deport illegals
3. Limit legal immigration to 100,000 per year
background checks and only the best qualified get in.
