It’s legal Captain Obtuse and I’m not going to believe otherwise because some lefty blogger of disingneuous Mittman says otherwise.

I could say that you are a misogynist, a believer in myths that demean women and misrepresent the Creator and His new creation in Jesus Christ. J’accuse!

LOL!

He/She didn’t even use the title that was in the ABC blog, just made up his own.

I see the mod’s added a note to it but I think they left him here for the Kitties to bat around for awhile.

I think what we might see from this is...

A) The $72k was reported as CAMPAIGN donations, not exploratory or testing the waters donations. Candidates receive money all the time. Some of it is earmarked, by way of a letter or a memo on the check, for a purpose other than what they are collecting donations for. It must still be reported accurately. FRed did that.

B) An exploratory or testing the waters committee can spend more than the alleged $5k...IF...they file their quarterly as a CANDIDATE. Those filings are due by 10/31/07, I believe.

That's MY take on the regs.

I will not vote for anyone that is not above board and honest.

“Above board and honest” are important, thus our little problem here. You changed the title, omitted the author’s name, and didn’t see fit to post the first sentence, which begins A liberal activist today lodged a complaint.

Few will accept these as simple random errors. Please don’t complain if you’re catching heat for them.

Because he's doing the exact same thing.

Doing what? Not playing by the liberal media and Democrat rules? Give me a break.

And it's easy to see why. If he waits till after the 9/6 he won't have to disclose how much money he's taken or who'd who's given it to him.

He can do whatever he wants as long as he's not in clear violatoin of FEC law.
Politicians look for advantages in campaign laws all the time. Just ask the folks who created the 527s out of that stupid campaign-finance bill.

All the other candidates ponied up and disclosed everything.

So what, that's them.

It's a sleazy move by Fred so his campaign funds won't be compared with the other candidates. Thus possibly having a negative effect to his polls.

Why should Fred show his hand? He has no obligation to tell anyone anything. You're just grasping at straws.

I think what we might see from this is...

If the report is accurate he filed 72k with the IRS is to be used in the general election. Which is what the Former FEC general Counsel described as "a red flag."

If he screws up and gets fined, all the candidates will suffer in the general election for it. That's why I'm mad.

He's carrying the -R- tag...we don't need no scandals. Ya know?

Fess up, you're just po'd cause your guy ain't as smart as FRed and had to spend more of his own money than you or I will ever make, combined, just to get to what?, 3rd or 4th Nationally?

I'll admit, buying Iowa like that did help him, though.

Hey, stare at this for a while, it's said people like you feel better after wards. LOL

Now ya see there, Kiddo, that's a typical leftie slant on the gun thing. Nowhere did Mitt (or anyone else) mention "fully automatic", which are already illegal. "Assault" weapons are typically defined as such solely through aesthetics. But I'm sure you knew that. It's just easier to change a few words here or there to try to bolster your argument, even if you have to make them up.

Which, come to think of it, pretty much explains why (and how) you posted this liberal blogger crap.

Hint for you: When you've already dug yourself a huge hole, well, the best tool for getting out might not be a shovel.

” I’m voting for Mitt!”

I heard a rumor from a guy that sold a dog kennel to a car mechanic, who fixed the car of a Target sales clerk, who sold a pack of gum to, a tour guide who works in Washington DC.
The tour guide heard from a Japenese tourist that Mitt Romney is really an alien.

So, I’m not voting for Mitt.

Hand guns, hunting, and sport weapons = Yes. Terrorist type fully automatic assault weapons = NO.

Keep laying it on, you're doing a remarkable job of tearing down old liberal mitt.

Just in case you didn't know, it's not illegal to own a full auto weapon in this country. So I guess you and Mitt want to take them away.
