Bush Policies Promote Global Jihad

Conservative thinker and strategist Paul Weyrich sees a Republican political disaster in 2008 because of Iraq. "I believe that the Democrats, most likely with Senator Hillary R. Clinton (D-NY) as the nominee, will win," he says. "The Republicans, regardless of who they nominate, will lose because of the war in Iraq. Voters want to punish the Republicans for Iraq."

It's easy to see how this might develop. But the backlash could get even worse when members of the conservative Republican base begin to grasp how the Bush policy has led to the virtual destruction of the Christian community in Iraq. It is nothing less than an outrage for this to be occurring under the auspices of a conservative Republican President who claims to be a born-again Christian.

But Iraq isn't the only problem like this. Bush is now working with the U.N. to create a Muslim state in Kosovo.

On July 25, the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom held a major hearing on religious persecution in Iraq that made your stomach turn. It effectively demonstrated that American soldiers, many of them Christians, are giving their lives and limbs to prop up a Muslim government that encourages or tolerates religious persecution against Christians. Michael Cromartie, chairman of the group and an appointee of President Bush, said reports indicate that nearly half of Iraq's Christians have already fled the country.

He explained that "Violence against members of Iraq's Christian community is of particular concern in Baghdad and the northern Kurdish regions. Reported abuses include the assassination of Christian religious leaders, the bombing and destruction of churches, and violent threats intended to force Christians from their homes. In some areas, ordinary Christians have reportedly stopped participating in public religious services for fear of inviting further violence."

I’ll believe the American people electing Hillary KKKlintler president when I see it. It’s not at all obvious to me that’s going to happen.

I got news for them, Global Jihad will be promoted no matter who is president. Global Jihad is out to destroy every individual that does not bow down to Islam the exact way the Jihadis say it should..

I ask them to prove me wrong.

Paul Weyrich and the rest are just crying the American people will punish the GOP in 2008. Hey Paul and you wannabe conservatives, if you are correct, why do the Democrats have only a 3% approval rating? If you think its because they haven't succeeded in inflicting a defeat upon America in Iraq, you guys are full of BS. If the American people really wanted out of there, we would be would out of there already. The GOP lost in 2006 for two reasons: Mark Foley and "macaca." Iraq wasn't even a campaign issue.

What will be th edifference? Republicans went mor lleft than Democrats.
Instead of bashing Democrats cause their wars against Christians, and their liaisons with Al-Quaeda, Republicans went to become more liberal than Clintons themselves.
Instead of saying to Hillary “Wanna talk about war in Iraq? Explain how you destroyed Yugoslavia, allied USA to Teheran in order to support Muslims on Balkans”
No, instead, Republicans say “Wars against Serbs were OK, and war in Iraq is OK”

That is recipe fo disaster.
It wont be Democrats supporters that would defeat Republicans in 2008, it will be loss of thrust by Republican supporters...

Remember it was Bill Clinton and his stinking Secretary of State Madeleine Albright who decided to jump in on the side of the muslims in Kosovo. The U.S. wiped out the entire inventory of ALCM 2500 lb weapons in that stupid move. We still have troops on the ground there, but the press never mentions it. Still covering for their Democrat idiots.

The Serb Christians fought on the side of the Allies in WWII. It was Clinton who gave the upper hand to the Muslims over the Christians in that conflict. It was a done deal before Bush ever took office. I suspect that Clinton favored the heroin pushing crime bosses who financed the Muslims. It would be interesting to see if he managed to pocket any money on the side for his "help".

No. People never vote FOR but AGAINST on elections. Voters never reward candidate, but punish counter-candidate.

There will be two kind of people in 2008 that will wote against Bush policy.
1. Ones that are dhimmi-leftie-marxists that opose war in Iraq
2.Conservatives that are against Bushs polici cause he didnt won it and destroyed Islamists

Republicans need strong-no bu****it-kill Muzzies candidate to win. Not apologiest one.

No one can be slightly pregnant, ant US is going to fight war against Islam, either surrender. No third option.

War should not be led against Al-Quaeda, cause it will be another organisation just like tah after Al-Quaeda, but against Islam.

J. Jatras said once best comment on WOT:

“Fighting Al-Quaeda after 9/11 is just like declaring war on naval aviation after Pearl Harbour. Real enemie is Islam, as Japaneese Empire was and not their naval aviation.”

“Bush Policies Promote Global Jihad”

I agree with that... His policy of NOT killing them all promotes global jihad.

Hillary in an ordinary election would have no chance. This war will give her a 50/50 chance at least. The war needs to wind down, the sooner the better. We can declare victory and continue the real fight, which is for the Supreme Court.
We need at least one more conservative at least. The public would give GOP for dumping Saddam and castrating Iraq’s potential for WMD.

Bashing of conservatives against the war will not help the cause in ‘08.

No, Republicans need a USA first foreign policy which seeks to maintain good relations with all.

Warmonger foreign policy is a sure loser.

There are literally billions of Moslems. The idea of USA declaring war on all Moslem countries is absolutely absurd. Good luck on getting one electoral vote.

On the other hand, it would not be a bad idea to start expelling them from the USA or at the very least letting no more enter

The only chance Hillary has had throughout her miserable worldly career has simply been a result of worldly corruption in every other institution touching upon any aspect of her periphery.

One doesn’t have to ask who might be corrupt around Hillary, because the dual of the argument has far less cardinality.

The part about the Christian communities being persecuted was predictable when we signed on to a Muslim constitution. If we are going to export Western traditions, we should export them and not be ashamed of telling our Iraqi “friends,” that they will have to abide Christianity and Judaism, or we will make them into a territory.

We need to do to Iraq what we did for the Indians—civilize them. Manifest Destiny in the mideast.

lol, too much common sense in this post. If American blood is spilled over there, some of Iraq should belong to us.

As much as I like the spirit of the post, the reality is we do not belong in the mideast. The culture is alien in the extreme and it is too far from home to support.

We have so many people that incorrectly think that anyone culture is no better than any of the others. Putting logic into that nonsense wold say, "American society is on the same level as cannibals."
