This is EXACTLY how the "news alert" from the ASS press reads. I can smell the bias, can't you?

Yes. But in this case, they are right.

This bill, if passed, would have been a ‘surrender’.

It should be interesting to see which democrats voted against surrender.

Senate Republicans have mustered enough votes

It should read:

Referring to it as a surrender actually seems biased in favor of the Republicans to me. Not that I’m complaining.

We SHOULD withdraw from Iraq. See my tagline.

I don’t have a problem with this headline, it’s accurate and portrays Republicans who voted against withdrawal in a good light...though I doubt that was their intention.

Now, if smart, the Republicans will capitalize on this headline and start helping to reverse public opinion about the war instead of retiring to their Senate offices and letting the NYT’s dictate the tone until September.

What they did was good here, Leiberman included, but it’s worthless if they shut up and do not petitiion their citizens to examine the real facts on the ground and stay resolute.

I thought John Kerry said yesterday there was 60 senators or more that would vote for change in Iraq. I guess we see he is the liar he has shown us in the past.

Republicans Block Surrender

IMO, if this is how the title was written, it makes the Dems looks real bad. Even they won't admit they want to surrender. They do, but they don't want it phrased that way. I think "redeploy" is the democrat term for surrender.

The Traitorcrats fail to bring down our Armed Forces and hand Al-Qaeda a victory. What a sad and pathetic creature Dingy Harry Reid is.
We have to make sure that he is “Daschled” in his next election.

This entire romper room episode with Senators on their cots sleeping and sucking their thumbs during nap time was nothing but PR BS... Dems knew they weren’t going to win, but its nice bread and circuses for the cameras and the drive by.

Harry Reid's juvenile prick prank failed.

What next?

Perhaps he will hold his breath and stamp his feet like a petulant, picayune, prepubescent pipsqueak angry at the grown-ups for not getting his wish.
