The entire left wing neo-communist media has gone mad with anger at the Scooter Libby commutation. Anderson Cooper promises "it will get lots of coverage here". David Shuster fills in for Chris Matthews, and his one-sided coverage has been well documented on FR.
But even CNN's coverage, complete with Clinton apologist Jeffrey Toobin ("astonishing" "I was shocked" "Pardons are poison for Presidents"), doesn't come close to the over the top ranting of Keith Olbermann.
Olberman's 'fair and balanced' coverage featured Joe Wilson IV (liar, liberal, Kerry campaign operative), John Dean (weasel), and the statement of Patrick Fitzgerald.
But he didn't stop with one sided interviews. The Bush presidency was described as "in crisis". The guest were harranged to ask whether this would now speed up the inevitable (to Keith) impeachment of Bush and/or Chenney.
He has promised a "special commentary". Joe Wilson: "this administration is corrupt from top to bottom" comment is featured as 'breaking news'. On both CNN and MSN no one is put forward to speak for the President and the viewpoint of millions of Americans who have been outraged by the absurd Libbey prosecution. Completely one sided.
It is either amusing or alarming to watch the one sided coverage of the MSM on this issue. It is amusing if you have already written them off, as the liars and charlatans they are. But if you consider that millions of Americans get their news from these sources it should be alarming.
We are already deep in the 2008 election, and the MSM are doing the heavy lifting for the Donkey Party by their one sided reporting.
I try to laugh off the MSM coverage, and Keith in particular, but fail. Loud mouthed communists agit-prop masters have historically been the key vanguard in leftist takeovers such as Hitlers, Lennins and Pol Pots. Keith is clearly promoting a level of outrage designed to bring the uninformed Donkey anarchtists out into the streets. He gives voice to the most irresponsible voices in Washington, such as Pat Leahey, and his network fails to check his over-the-top rhetoric.
To be continued...
Can’t blame you. What you report is indeed what I would’ve expected from this hatemonger.
When Olberman reports on the injustice of Sandy Berger not receiving some sort of prison time for his offense..I’ll believe he is a serious journalist. Until then, he is just blah..blah..blah..
I read about this on another site. I heard he called this the “crime of the century”.
Olbermann is clearly stark raving mad.
Wonder if the other guy that watched Oderman is as upset?
Hopefully God won’t get out his magnify glass and play with these ants. Not worth the individual attention. More likely wash them down the drain when he cleans the driveway into Paradise, unless they...
The Libby pardon is a good use of the Presidential pardon especially when a man is Nifonged.
My theory is that the Olberman show is actually a comedy show. I think it’s a slap-stick parody of the drive-by media, but its clueless followers haven’t figured it out yet.
Someone called it the “crime of the century”? Doesn’t surprise me a bit.
Check out Six Reasons the Plame Episode is a Farce (http://RussP.us/Plame.htm)
Or prison time for Ted Kennedy. Or is Keith's memory only as long as his......
Hey, this Jack Black guy is a pretty good newsbreak writer. Lots of good descriptors and color, where’s he been hidin’? Is AP gonna pick him up?
Do their followers ever wonder why the conspiracies they dream up never come to pass?

Liberal heads are literally EXPLODING, all over the internet.
Check out Craigs List, or KOS, or Huffington...
They finally Got somebody connected to Bush, and expected him to turn states evidence at the Cheney Impeachment, which would lead to the Bush Impeachment, which would vindicate all the lies they have swallowed since the 2000 Selection....
After all they had invested in the lies of the gay radical Socialists at Truthout over the Rove Inquisition, they had to have SOMETHING pan out to keep the checks coming.
Its tough for the liberal mind to accept failure, and even when they do, it MUST be someone elses fault.
Relax.
Olberman is the Gong Show of politics. Except that the Gong Show had a bigger and more discerning audience.
Everyone needs to remember that Scooter Libby was NOT pardoned. Only his prison sentence was commuted.
Libby still has to pay the fine and be on probation.
From all the anti Oberman articles and Glenn Beck even bad mouthing this Oberman I consider myself lucky to have never had to listen to his jibber.
If he is the guy I may have saw on MSNBC when surfing I could not listen more than a few minutes as he was so off the mark and hatefilled.
Is he a good looking guy with a disgusting mouth?
Olberman is the Gong Show of politics. Except that the Gong Show had a bigger and more discerning audience.
LOL!!
Very well said!
“Libby still has to pay the fine and be on probation.”
What could he possibly do to violate his probation? Who would he have to lie to?
Olbermann is such an over the top propagandists tool ... I content we need to give the official name of ...Lord Haw Haw II...I just think it fits him
Olbermann’s producer wanted him to bring Paris Hilton on as a frequent commentator on current events, but Keith nixed the idea, fearing he’d look like an imbecile in comparison. Keith insisted on having John Dean on instead.
“Except that the Gong Show had a bigger and more discerning audience.”
And Arte Johnson is more photogenic than Over-the-top-mann.
Most of the time Olbermann is too annoying to watch, but as soon as I heard the news this evening I made time to go watch him tonight - Mrs Heatseeker even made popcorn. There’s just something about these guys when they’re in the throes of a BDS attack that I find entertaining to watch.
It’s a pity, though, that Bush didn’t pardon Libby entirely; I think the top of Olbermann’s head would have blown off.
Back in the early days of television, Arthur Godfrey fired singer Julius LaRosa from his show, live in front of a huge nationwide viewing audience.
Admittedly, Keith’s miserable ratings prevent him from ever being fired in front of millions of people. But it would be enjoyable to purchase MSNBC, and then fire Olbermann on the air by simply ringing a big gong when he starts his nightly Orwellian 60 minute hate against President Bush.
MARK RICH
at least he paid for his pardon. lmao
Bush just busted their balls.I love it!
That’s the problem! That idiot Alan Colmes tried to compare Libby to Paris Hilton (if she served time, why shouldn’t he) instead of to Burglar, who got off with impunity.
But I did hear Anderson Cooper make the point that neither Libby or anyone else was convicted of the actual crime being investigated.
They are attempting to script-write the sequel, Saturday Night Massacre II. When the only tool you have is a hammer...
Bill Clinton pardoned Dan Rostenkowski. Did Olbermann freak out over that? I didn’t think so.
Yawn!
Oberman is WAY funnier than John Stewart.
Not only did Clinton pardon Rostenkowski, he also pardoned Mel Reynolds, who was convicted on 12 counts of bank fraud, plus sexual acts with minors. He pardoned 16 members of a Puerto Rican terrorist organization because he thought it would help Hillary win the large Puerto Rican vote in New York in her senate campaign. He pardoned a convicted cocaine dealer. He pardoned two money launderers who paid Hillary’s brother, Hugh Rodham, $200,000 to (ahem) represent them.
Of course, that was all okay according to the media since Clinton was a Democrat. Just like it was okay for him to fire EVERY federal prosecutor in the country (which he did), but Bush is considered the most evil guy since Hitler for firing eight of them.
Oh, and it was also okay for him to take laundered money from the Chinese Communist Party, which was delivered to him in grocery bags. After all, he gave the money back when he got caught, didn’t he?
Oh, and did I mention he tried to rent out the Lincoln Bedroom to anyone who would give him campaign dollars?
After reading Hillary's comment, I called and left a message asking if she would like me to send her the list of people her husband pardoned when she was his co-president? She needs to be exposed as the hypocrite and dishonest person she is.
We should bombard every Democrat or media hacks like Olbermann (he's no journalist) with facts about Democrats who have committed crimes and indiscretions, but have never been held accountable, but have been aided and abetted by the MSM to cover them up and escape punishment. Some Republicans mess up to, but they are held accountable and pay the price! We need to fight fire with fire. We stood together and defeated the AMNESTY BILL, and we can stand together and expose these MSM hacks and dishonest people in government by challenging them with the truth when they start spinning their webs of deceit.
“Has never been married and has no children...
Thank God for small favors....
Outrageous that a President should pardon a non-terrorist.
President Bush helped Olby out of a bigger jam than he did Scooter!!
I find it ironic that the side which was so bent on giving the 12 to 20 million illegal immigrants a pardon are so upset at the commuting of the sentence of one man
Or Tim Russert’s filing of a false affidavit in the LIbby case; or Andrea Mitchell and NBC legal counsel claiming that Mitchell was “drunk” when she said “everybody knew”, or when David Gregory stops hiding the fact thathe was a leak recipient and probably told Russert (who will then be proven to have lied to the court, more than has already been proven), or when David Schuster claimed “22 indictments” upcoming in the trial....yada yada yada.
NBC/MSNBC are nothing but hate mongers....from morning to night, we get hate speech and lies. The spitter and the olberidiot are the worst, but the whole channel is pretty bad and not worth watching for content, although the laugh factor can be pretty good sometimes.
Well I did have to tune into the Ann Coulter interview on MSNBC. It hurt but Ann made me fill better.
A Fairness Doctrine remedy for Olbermann is to lock him up for 2 hours in the same room with Gordon Lilly.
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. Hardball was more of the same with Joe Wilson IV on again, for about 20 minutes. Keith’s “special commentary” is coming up.
