Leadership: Rudy Giuliani makes it clear that if he and Hillary Clinton are the nominees in 2008, she will have to answer why co-president Bill didn't treat the 1993 WTC bombing as al-Qaida's Pearl Harbor.

So, Rudy is right on this, doesn’t change the fact that Rudy is a hopeless butthole! Rudy is in no position to criticize anyone!

She would not even let herself get near a question about that issue. She would not show up for the debate, unless her handlers were assured she would not get the question. The Clinton reality is nothing like ours....terminal narcissism.

she'll also have to explain her husband's muted — no, nonexistent — response to repeated terrorist attacks on U.S. targets here and abroad, starting with the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center.

As much as I think Hillary Presidency is about the worst thing that can happen to this country, laying at her feet, the feeble inaction of her POTUS husband is a bit disingenuous.

Bottom line, it is the POTUS job, the country elected Bubba, not Hillary to defend the country.

It's a fair question to ask her what she would have done differently, if she had the oval office officially.

Rooty is grasping at straws

As bin Laden said in a 1998 interview: "America assumed the titles of world leader and master of the new world order. After a few blows, it forgot all about those titles and rushed out of Somalia in shame and disgrace, dragging the bodies of its soldiers."

This IMHO, is the real legacy of the Clinton administration. However, Hillary will not have to answer for it. That is dreaming Rudy.

That was the bill of goods pushed for consumption for the soccer moms

Bottom line is the First Lady has no power to do anything except force her spouse thought persuasion or blackmail to her will.

Bill is FULLY responsible for 9/11

You are correct, but what makes this even more troubling is that as magnificently as Rudy performed immediately following the attacks, HE did not prepare NYC emergency services for a terrorist attack, having full knowledge of the earlier 1993 attack. Rudy is attempting to shed himself now of the responsibility HE had before 9-11 to prepare NYC for another attack.

I hope Rudy would bring this into the presidential discussions so he and Hillary can slime one another out of contention.

Rudy is in no position to criticize anyone!

Maybe, but I appreciate anyone bringing up the Clintons' fault in this matter...even if it's Rudy.

His statement that Clinton erred tremendously in making the first bombing a criminal matter rather than an act of war is spot on.

Doesn't hurt for him to say it. I'd be willing to hear it again and again.

Does he suggest any particular country we should have invaded then? Rudy is all tough talk, but the terrorism problem is best handled by FBI, CIA, etc. That is what should have happened in 1993. It failed, in part due to the Clinton admin keeping the CIA and FBI from sharing info and from that administration’s general lack of interest in anything other than having a good time in the oval office.

I do think it odd for a person to care about the lives of only those Americans who have made it safely out of the womb.

Read post 9. Got all these people who have been part of the problem, for all these years, and, all of sudden, they are the solution? I don’t think so!

“We are the President”-Hillary Clinton
She was involved in most of his half-a$$ed presidency, so she is fair game for this criticism.

Sure he does. It’s called the First Amendment. The DNC (Dean aNd Company) hates it.

She might have been 10%, 50% or 120% involved in the decisions of the President. She might have held a gun to his head, put a bomb under his oval office seat or blackmailed him. Doesn’t matter, he was President and was totally responsible. Just like the captain of a ship is totally responsible for everything that happens on his ship.

You are right. What we had during “their presidency” was an irresponsible person who should never have been given the trust. Has BJ Blythe ever admitted responsibility for anything?
