Bush invited the family into his office to cry with family and got a Bible out of his desk to comfort them.
He knew exactly where to look when this mom mentioned the quote.

I don’t agree with Bush’s immigration stance but that does not mean I am going to denigrate him or his faith. That is silly for some misguided people to do.
If Bush is a Christian, why is he lying to us about immigration? He says he can’t enforce the border without this new crappy bill. Is that a lie? You decide...

God separated humanity into different, distinct nations for the same reason that the US Constitution has the separation of powers: because manking is inherently fallen and sinful, and if power is concentrated into a single human person or organization, then dictatorship will result.
