Read the last few paragraphs. The Fom of dead soldier from minnesota was invited into the Oval Office; mom was going to quote from the Bible but forgot the book/chapter/verse.
Bush pulled a Bible out of his office desk! and found the quote from Ephesians!
That's pretty cool. IMO

Bill Clinton toted a bible around on occasion, too ... especially whenever the $#!t was hitting the fan.

Clinton carried a Bible to church.

For those who can’t get it:
Bush invited the family into his office to cry with family and got a Bible out of his desk to comfort them.
He knew exactly where to look when this mom mentioned the quote.

I’ve studied the Bible with GWB; whatever his other flaws, he is a committed Christian.

Clinton carried a Bible to church.
...sometimes immediately following a session with his favorite intern.

i agree that it is very cool, and doesn’t surprise me in the least that he has a Bible in his desk drawer.

I agree with you. And I was raised in a church where we were taught not to question the level of another’s faith. Being sanctimonious and holier than thou was discouraged. I would never question W’s faith. Ever.

I wonder if he could find a copy of the Constitution in there somewhere?

I think the Washington media would freak out if they knew he kept a Bible in his Oval office desk drawer and started quoting scripture like an expert.
It’s fascinating.

If he is a committed Christian..(& God alone knows)...
...why is he giving Christians, across America, a collective heart attack?
