Sex offenders younger, more violent

The number of children under 18 accused of forcible rape, violent and nonviolent sex offenses rose from 24,100 in 1985 to 33,800 in 2004, the AP's analysis found. Violent offenses include attempted rape and sexual assault, while nonviolent offenses including fondling, statutory rape and prostitution.

By comparison, rape and sexual assaults by adults decreased more than 56 percent from 1993 to 2004. Comparable statistics were unavailable before 1993.

.....Sharon Araji, an Alaska psychologist who took one of the first broad looks at the problem in her book "Sexually Aggressive Children," thinks the number of child-on-child sex crimes is actually even higher than the statistics indicate.

....incest between siblings are widely thought to be underreported and may drive the numbers even higher, Araji says.

"The whole society is not yet up on this problem," Araji said. "These kids, on the extreme end, if nothing is done to catch them, they're going to become our adult offenders of tomorrow."

Studies show that one in two sex offenders began their sexually abusive behavior as juveniles.

The rise in juvenile sex offenders has spawned hundreds of new treatment facilities for children as young as 5.

In 2002, there were 937 programs in the U.S. treating adolescent offenders — generally ages 12-17 — up from 346 in 1986.

During the same period, the list of programs specifically aimed at children under 12 grew from zero to 410, according to The Safer Society Foundation.

.....Recent incidents include the cases of two 13-year-old boys in Omaha, Neb., who were accused in January of videotaping their assault of two 5-year-old girls and a 3-year-old boy, and of an 8-year-old Buffalo, N.Y., boy accused of assaulting a 6-year-old boy after he saw a prison rape scene in an R-rated movie.

In Alaska, lawyer Dennis Maloney calls it an epidemic.

US Population 1985: 237,923,795
US Population 2007: 301,139,947

Percentage Increase: Aprox. 27%

Whereas sex assault have increased by roughly, according to these numbers, 37% or so during the same period. An increase which, I very strongly suspect, can be attributed to higher reporting and the like than it can be to anything elese.

I just read an article (I think here) a day or so ago. A kid 17 gets a Lewinsky from a 15 y.o. and gets 10 yrs. prison.

Kids are inundated with sex, everywhere and all of the time under the guise that it is natural, then they act out and are prosecuted?

I must quote a great FReeper: Liberals learn to stand on their head then convince the world they are up side down

What? Because we are talking about the intent to commit, and the act of committing, a violent physical crime on another person, not about consent.

don’t think like a Democrat.

The Sex Positive Agenda seeks to encourage teen sex. You thought that condoms in schools was about AIDS and pregnancy but it was about winning the argument about IF kids should have sex and forever shifting it to WHEN kids have sex...

The Sex Positive proponents (Reich, Kinsey, Feminists) see sexual pleasure as a birthright. They believe that abstinence is an unhealthy supression of sexual desire.

They seek to see an end to all moral judgements over sexual pairings regardless of sex, age, relation, marital status, number, or species of partner(s).

They sit on the fence when it comes to rape (NOW even gave Clinton a free pass). They support rape fantasy even if they don’t come out for “non-consensual sex”. A child cannot “consent”. An animal cannot “consent” (even if it initiates contact by humping your leg).

Two kids “consenting” with one another is still off limits. Now they take pictures.

You also have states with age of consent laws under 18 (Hawaii is as low at 14 to consent with an adult). It is still criminal to photograph the “act” so now photos are worse than actually doing it.

The law is a ass. Liberalism has made a mockery of our legal system. It it feels good do it. Crowley’s “satanic” philosophy of “Do as thou will shall be the whole of the law” reigns. Do as you want.

But beyond all that discussion, this article is about violent rape. No consent. No fantasy. Ergo the NOW Nags gave us the Bill Clinton Legacy part II. First was that oral sex was not sex. Now it is that rape is still okay if no one talks.

First question: What are they calling sexual crimes? I have read of teens doing it with consent but the older one was jailed because of a law that says you have to be in a certain age group.

Second question: Who many are from illegal aliens?
Third question: How many are from those who consider women to be available if they wear certain clothes?
Fourth question: How many are from NAMBLA or other perverts?
Fifth question: Are they not teaching this in school now so it seems to be something that is ok?

That’s not what it means at all.

from Wikipedia article Thelema:

“Crowley wrote that the Law is not a license to indulge in casual whim or to mindlessly accept cultural mores, but is rather a mandate to discover and manifest one’s True Will, which he described as one’s inner divine nature, spiritual destiny, or proper course in life.”

We've heard this excuse for 40 years nows. At some point, it doesn't wash.
