HOUSTON - In a shift of tactics, Republican presidential contender Rudolph Giuliani acknowledged his liberal views Friday, calling a woman's right to choose an abortion one of his "core beliefs." After a week of criticism for making contradictory comments about abortion, Giuliani also said he backs gay domestic partnerships that aren't marriage and the right of states to restrict guns. Giuliani, a New York Catholic who once considered the priesthood, chose to make his stand before a conservative, Protestant audience at Houston Baptist University in an appearance arranged just Wednesday.

Now it is getting in Black and White for all to see... Good.. forwarded to my pastor
This RINO will tear the party apart.
He has just hung himself as far as my support goes. Sure I liked his tough stance of terror and security but all the rest is negative and not acceptable. Amen.
Where are all the Rudy rooters now?
Gone to their backup RINO, MITT.
Rudy's much-vaunted "head butting" coming to the fore, no doubt ... right into what he considers the belly of the beast. I imagine you could hear chairs creaking over a very low murmur from the audience, and little else, in the stoney silence following this political maneuver.
Every dye job is revealed as the hair grows out--just look at the roots. Maybe it is a good thing the campaign season started early...
Well, maybe Rudy and Bloomberg could run as a team: Pres & VP.
So convenient to be able to pull the lever for Liberal Democrats on the Republican ballot.
Talk about arriving at the old U.S.S.R. situation.
The same thing that just happened to Giuliani will also happen to Romney. That flaming liberal won't make it through the primaries.
Well, on the positive side, not one of the many posted articles about this campaign appearance has delved into audience reception. Had there been any inkling of support, it would have been trumpeted far and wide. Since it wasn’t, and I know southern Protestants quite well, I’m sure this latest machination went over like a lead brick. No catcalls, though; we’re talking about polite, churchgoing folks here. Dead silence. A few whispers. Shifting uncomfortably in their chairs. I hope Rudy felt a few beads of sweat, but that would require a conscience.
Jim banned them...makes for no fun now...just choir preaching...sigh
Fred Thompson... Calling Fred Thompson, your party needs you...
I wonder if there are some stats out there anywhere that break down the Republican Party by “world view” e.g. “Rockefeller” Republicans - Social and Fiscal Conservatives etc....I’d like to see the implications of Rudy’s position on his so called “base”.
Rudy has just provided himself with the first SELF-ABORTION. He’s history.
Let’s add up the score: Guiliani has lost
1. His first wife
2. His second wife
3. The affection and respect of his college age son
4. His Catholic faith
5. The Republican presidential nomination
Now that’s a winner if I ever saw one!
Rudy’s coming out of the closet with his true beliefs. This also marks the end of his campaign for president. See ya Rudy.
It’s what we’ve known all along.

He certainly threw the South under the Bus(what few were on his Bus). The Pubbies can not win without the South. Just like in olden times when the south was Democratic.

I think Giuliani would make a very good DumocRAT. Stick a fork in him he is done.
