There is no reasonable argument that the fight in Iraq is a key battle to deal a death blow to Baathist holdovers and foreign Jihadists and must therefore be fully funded to ensure victory. But this campaign must not be taken in isolation. During the ongoing defense budget confrontation between the Congress and the White House, the singular focus by the Democrats and their media cohorts on money issues concerning Iraq conceals an overarching effort aimed at dismantling the two key strategic maneuvers designed to secure our future for decades to come.

Our strategic forces being placed closer to Russia in Eastern Europe is also a warning shot across their bow to stop assisting Iran in it’s nuclear ambition. We are going to face off against the new Axis comprised of Russia, China, North Korea & Iran and in my opinion, in the next five years. Retreating from military theatres which is exactly what the Dems want to do emboldens this Axis to speed along a nuclear 911 and other hostile ambitions in the Pacific and Europe.

Well said, and exactly on point. Which is why this country CANNOT give the Demorats all three branches.
Should the Republicans nominate ANYBODY other than Ron Paul, everyone from the hard right to the soft middle should be voting AGAINST the Dem nominee.
I believe the above statements to be true. I only I wish the dumbocrates who would argue this point would realize that the appearance of traitorous acts are just as damning as the acts themselves.
