I agree. it is astounding how many corrupt government workers get generous pensions when they should be fired and lose all benefits. I believe the State, Local and Federal pensions stand at about $20Trillion. Nifong will live a good life at our expense.

Not always sometimes Newt can say some really great stuff and come up with some really great ideas so you have to take the good and the bad

True but then Rudy, who is the leading Republican in 08 supports the same idea that Newt dose and yet he’s trated like a huge Hero here on FR and then there’s Fred who helped come up with and supported McCain/FeinGold and yet he’s treated like hero on FR even winning the poll there’s such a huge double standard here on FR and the best thing we can do is let Newt know that he’s wrong on this issue and that he needs to do better How els are we going advance our movemnt If all we do is say Newt Sucks or something to that matter? I agree with you, but I haven't heard another of the leading Republicans say that Global Warming is man-made. The ONLY thing that I can think is that he is "agreeing" with the loons on the left to take the wind out of their sails on the issue and then will use it to change the energy structure in this country. If we can develop and maintain a home-grown energy source, we rid our economy of the volatility foreign oil causes. I just hate agreeing with those loons on anything any more.

The other thing that concerns me is his cozying up to Hillary Clinton.
