Sorry Mod, put this in the proper location
My dear old Dad is going in for Round 3 against the Melonoma Mauler. Round 1 took a chunk of his calf out and Round 2 took out a piece of thigh. The Mauler seems to want to go for the pin in Round 3, as it appears to have spread to his lung. The docs took out a liter of fluid this afternoon an performed a CATscan. This is according to my Mom, an RN who may, or may may not, be telling me the whole story. My Mom and Dad deserve more time together. They did all the right things in raising a responsible set of four sons and doing all they could for their community. Please say a prayer for my Father and my Mother. Thanks all. Easter this weekend with all but my bro in Washington is going to be a tough weekend. Thanks again.

Your father is in my prayers. Your family is lucky to have your mother as an RN to keep on top of things; that in itself is already a blessing.
Aw, what a raw deal for your Dad and Mom. I hope your Dad fights the good fight here. He has before. Time for you and your brothers to step up and help Mom and Dad anyway you can. You can fight for them by physically and psychologically strong and just by being there for them. You all are their pillars now. Steady as she goes. I have full faith you can help them carry through during this crisis. Good luck and God’s grace to you all.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We ask for Your blessings on this family, that newbie’s father will be completely healed of this disease if it is to be Your Will—pray for comfort and emotional healing for him and newbie and the rest of the family/friends as well who are going through this ordeal with him. You are the Great Physician and there are so many instances in the Bible where this kind of story moved Your heart to heal those with ailments completely. Please let newbie’s father be one of those who undergoes a miracle!
