The article doesn't say their offspring is defective and they already had four, so what's the point prosecuting them now?
They may not be ready to tie the knot, but I understand they have already tried the naughty.
Are you referring to Osama bin Laden or Barack Osama?
On second thought, they are peas in a pod..... so forget my question.
What's going on???? This is like the third incest story today????
The anti-morals, PC crowd want everyone to accept incest and homosexuality as normal and good...so they can go on being immoral without guilt. The more they tout it the more accepted they believe immorality will become. Worked in the '60s.
She had four kids by the time she was 21. I don't think they were both adults when this began. He was in his twenties, but it looks like she was about 15 or 16. If he had sex with his 15 year old sister, he should have gone to jail.
No, I understand that aspect....I'm just trying to figure out how we managed to get three incest stories TODAY?
UGH! At least it wasn't a Helen Thomas pic!
Yes.
Four a piece, in fact.
Wow.
No matter how many times we hear WV inbreeding jokes, they just never get old.
Doesn't make it incorrect.
Furthermore, I maintain that it is not within the power of the state to regulate sex between two consenting individuals.
So you've got no problem with someone playing "Oedipus"?
"Your Honor, my client has already robbed the bank, the money has already been spent, it's a settled deal, there's no point in continuing this senseless prosecution."
"I am glad Germany is in the enlightened sphere of Europe and not in the South. The jokes and jabs would be relentless."
You mean like:
So, if a married couple from Thuringia (or Bavaria, or Pommerania) get a divorce are they still brother and sister?
Well it's been almost 6 years since my last German course in college, but I think I made my way through that article fairly well. Only had to use a translator 5 times.
Because such a union tends to produce genetically defective offspring.
Only if they themselves are genetically damaged.
The real problem with incest is it is a great offense to Almighty God.
Thanks man! I guess I have to wear a welding mask here now.
LOL
I don't like that argument because it suggests that if you can solve the genetic variability problem there's nothing wrong with the concept of marriage between brother and sister.
Actually this is related to a disorder known as Genetic Sexual Attraction. Primetime did a special on it last night.
"Adoption reunion can spark some intense sexual feelings. This can happen in reunion natural mothers and sons, natural fathers and daughters, siblings of opposite sex, and more distant relatives. Some have engaged in a sexual relations with their natural relative while others have described experiences ranging from intense erotic feelings toward their relatives to sexual behavior such as fondling and touching. The best way to explain it is when the lost relative is met for the first time an overwhelming and complicated rush of emotions and an almost irresistible sense of falling in love. There may be a need to discover an unusual form of closeness and intimacy with their relative who had felt the same way. Another example may be feelings of an inability to keep away from the other person and a sense of having belonged together all their lives."

Nevertheless, when one begins to define marriage once for homosexuals it seems pointless and discrimatory not to redefine it again. Why wouldn't you?
