Is it any wonder that we are in trouble when we can't rely on these useless, gutless wonders?

You left off John McCain, not voting.

Remember this. When the stakes were high, John McCain didn't want to go on the record. Say what you want about the likes of Susan Collins, at least she has the courage to vote her opinion. "War hero" McCain has no backbone whatsoever. He wants the liberals' votes and he wants conservative votes, and he deserves neither.

I have already sent a letter to Smith letting him know I will consciously never vote for him again.

OK, forget those that didn't vote for whatever reason, but the following need to be expelled either by the Republican party, or the primary voters:

The two dim-witted hags from Maine.

The former Dem from Minnesota.

The whackjob loon from Nebraska.

The RINO from Oregon.

Mr. "Scottish Law" Argyle McSphincter from Pennsylvannia.

The old coot from Virginia.

Do you have a source? None of the clowns on the list surprise me. I am surprised if McCain did not vote.

The roll call is listed at comment #9 above. McCain couldn't be troubled to vote his opinion on this somewhat important issue.

I'm not a big McCain guy, but this vote was essentially meaningless.

Joe Lieberman was treated disgracefully by the Dems in Connecticut. He owes them nothing ,especially his "good friends" Dodd, Kerry and that bumbling joke Kennedy. We join in your prayers that he crosses the aisle.

He won't jump ever in a million years. He's chairing Homeland Security (his dream) and he gets to be the most powerful man in the Senate. If he jumped, he'd lose that power.

Also, the numbers still favor the Dems in 2008 -- why would he jump only to be in the minority two years later?

>> Do not forget those Senators that voted RIGHT. Send them your support! <<

Lindsey Graham was 100% supportive of the President on this issue, and on other issues he has supported the conservative line 90% of the time. Perhaps all the Lindsey Graham haters on FR will thank him for that and just consider the possiblity, that maybe, JUST maybe, RINOs like John Warner in nearby "Bush state" Virgina are more deserving of scorn than a guy who lead the fight to impeach Clinton.

Nah, that would require common sense and logic, two qualities unknown by single-issue purists.

"TENNESSEE? Corker, failed to vote"

Failing to Vote is OK, since keeping the Yea votes under 60 is all that mattered.

Voting with the RATS is NOT OK!
