He told Lane County Circuit Judge Lyle Velure that his actions were not callous crimes but were an expression of frustration over the "irreversible damage" being done to the planet for the sake of profit.

Like setting SUV's on fire.

He lost a fight bad over anarchist pride. A criminal who stole tattooing equipment from a man in a wheel chair cutting of his middle fingers and killing his dog made this guy angry because he was claiming he was a Eugene Anarchist too.

Luers got angry and got in his face saying he didn't have to listen to him as he was a REAL Eugene Anarchist insulted a common criminal would say he was what he views as a special class of activists.

The guy nearly broke his jaw and cracked several ribs beating the crap out of Luers.

These wackos complained about the harsh sentences and said "No one was injured in the fires." What?? Is this for real?? They contributed untold damage to the ozone and mother earth?? What have all these riots and protests been about all these years?? They are protesting the destruction the SUV's are doing on the environment!! So they go out and and burn rubber, chemicals, paints, metal, plastic and gas!! How much ozone was destroyed and fuel used by the fire company coming to the the scene of the fire?? How many carcinogens were dumped into the atmosphere?? What a bunch of nuts!
