MUNICH, Germany (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin, in one of his harshest attacks on the United States in seven years in power, accused Washington on Saturday of attempting to force its will on the world.

The White House said it was "surprised and disappointed" by Putin's accusations but added Washington expected to continue to work with Moscow in areas such as counter-terrorism and reducing the spread and threat of weapons of mass destruction.

In a speech in Germany, which one U.S. senator said smacked of Cold War rhetoric, Putin accused the United States of making the world a more dangerous place by pursuing policies aimed at making it "one single master".

Putin says U.S. wants to dominate world

Putin, on the other hand, only wants to subjugate Russia and its surrounding countries to his one-man rule, and send assassins around the world to murder those who disagree with him. So that makes him such a better man than Bush, you know...

We are one single master because communism has failed where ever its been tried and creates a abyss of poverty and opression.

Gosh, I hope so. I wouldn't want some beady eyed, soulless assassin like Putin to rule the world.

Dear Mr. Putin,

Suppose for a moment that you're telling the truth.

If so, the problem with the United States adding a few more states is...?

We're just trying to reduce global warming by creating opportunity for YOUR huddled masses in other places besides North America....

I'm surprised that Pooty Poot doesn't view Islamic extremists at the top of his threat matrix. Nor the Chinese. Buy a clue Vlad, stop selling weapons, and nuclear technology to the Persians. The crazy one at the top of their food chain is Ahmanutjob, and he would think nothing of cooking off a nuke in Moscow.

Do you want to buy a vowel, Vlady?

Russia just gave half of Europe radiation poisoning to kill one ex-spy. But I'm sure a few commies in Russia and the mullahs in the middle-east applauded the speech by comrade Putin.

Putin is paying lip service to his circle of influence.

He is glad that the United States is trying to keep Iran from getting nukes.

Either that or he's insane.

He's a lot of things, but insane is not one of them.

Putin is trying to distract attention from the fact that he has charged the head of Yukos with new crimes. The man was due for probation in June, but Putin has now charged him with money laundering, in order to keep him in prison indefinitely, while he sell the rest of the company. Germany's Merkel, and some other head of state has tried to intervene and Putin just laughed at them. This has a very serious portents for the future of Russia.

Along side the article, reporting these charges, was another article concerning oil companies in the US. It seems that some of our Democrat Senators have written anothe letter to the American Enterprise Institute, threatening them over the disagreement on global warming and the fact that they accepted some money from, you guessed it, EXXON.
