I think these whiners need to move back to the East Coast or wherever the hell they lost their balls.

Maybe they want to reconsider giving all that money to wacko "Animal rights" or "Environmental" groups like PETA and the Sierra Club now.

Coyotes? You mean the type that drive vans full of illegals?? Oh, you mean the four-legged kind...aha!!
Easy to get confused in that area when it relates especially to Los Angeles...

Get some traps and bait them with roadrunners and you'll catch them all.

This is nothing new. I lived in the hills thereabouts for a long time and heard/saw plenty of coyotes. Outside cats and small dogs occasionally became coyote food, but it goes with the territory.

Get them on the Acme mailing list. That should take them out in no time.

If it's any consolation, the coyotes keep the rat population down.

In my old neighborhood in Orange County, it was not unusual to see coyotes going down the street in the early morning. It was also not unusual for them to attack small dogs and cats!

Shoot shovel and shutup. It worked back in the San Joaquin Valley where I grew up, and it'd work fine in LA.

What is the problem? Coyotes are part of nature.
These people have obviously infringed on their territory with their homes and roads and such. They need to move and give the land back to the coyotes!
Ya'll know I'm being sarcastic, right?

Authorities offer assurances that attacks on humans are rare. Still, the coyotes have caused concern in the neighborhood. ?
In related news the number of missing cats and yappy little dogs has increased considerably

I used to live at the top of LaBrea & loved to hear the coyotes howl at night. I saw a few over the years. We had so many dogs living on that street due to the nearby dogpark that the coyotes could blend right in....and then attack the little dogs. My dog looked like a Bear so he was never at risk. Scrappy little creatures ...

Leaving dog/cat food out and having water out will draw coyotes. Good grieve I wish there were still the coyotes here where I live. I miss their 'calls' in the night and seeing them in the fields. Guess they have gone urban and moved to LA.

Adults have taken to carefully looking before stepping out of their homes."
That's stupid. Coyotes don't go after anything taller than they are. They eat rabbits for dinner. They walk right by me. Very good looking wild dogs with tan fur. It is illegal to feed them.
