Pelosi, Clinton, Boxer: The Bitchy New Face Of Feminism (Hilarious!)
postchronicle.com ^ | 1/13/2007 | L.A. Morris

Posted on 01/13/2007 8:39:47 AM PST by Dark Skies

If there were ever a chance for women to be recognized as something other than female, these three self-declared feminists have managed to do everything in their power to set the women's movement back to the caveman era.

As Clinton turns her head to her husband's pecadilloes in order to further her career, as Pelosi wields the Speaker's gavel like a rolling pin with which to crush uncooperative hardheads while drowning in her scarfs and jewelry, as Boxer rails on the female Secretary Of State for not having kids and therefore being unable to relate to the loss of a loved one -- all of these old faces unfortunately represent the bitchy new face feminism, which eerily resembles what all women feared it eventually would.

How can we hope to be treated as equals if we ourselves cannot control our catty instinct to shred our female competitors and counterparts? These icy babes are snowblind to the chilling effect they are having on women everywhere, and will never acknowledge they and their fellow party members are to blame. They are clueless, and frankly, too ambitious for their own (or anyone elses') good.

How can Boxer mock Rice with a lack of compassion and understanding while standing along with her fellow matrons to encourage abortion (half those preborn lives are female, by the way) and the creation of fetuses to be ultimately destroyed (killed) so that some other sick person might be saved. Creating human life that will live and die for the sake of research? Are we crazy?? To these females (who have cowed the Democrat males into agreeing with them), human life is now nothing more than a commodity -- to be used and discarded, or to be manipulated for their personal political benefits. Half of those embryos would be female humans, too.

While the Democrat party talks of caring about women's rights, the Dem females stand idly by as the Dem males lift their leg all over the party platform -- often their own homes -- by not putting women of substance in positions of power. Pelosi managed to scrabble her way to the top of the clerical heap because the Dem males saw in her someone with a big mouth who wasn't shy about using it, and it made their jobs easier. She deflects attention while they go about business-as-usual, much like women do dishes while men watch the Super Bowl.

Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, is becoming more manly as time marches on. Her way of handling the males is similar to Pelosi, less edgy perhaps, but more strident and annoying tone. Clinton is utterly focused on becoming the first woman president, if for no other reason than she thinks she can do a better job than her distracted husband did. It was clear throughout his presidency, to me at least, that she often wished she could push him off the stage and take the microphone. The more adoring she acted, the more suspicious it looked.

As for Boxer, it's hard to grasp the exact direction her pointed and unnecessary attack on Condoleeza Rice was going. After listening to her questioning of the Secretary on the news at least 20 times, the only thing I could see was a determined desire to make Rice "look bad" or at the very least, uncaring of the people affected by the loss of their loved ones.

So while the Democrats 100 hours of do-it-all devolve into disaster, it will be amusing to see how their party will manage to pull together without George Bush to hate and blame for the problems of the world. They can't stop the infighting, the positioning, the internal dissent, or even the discord in their own party, and nothing has made it more obvious than their takeover of Congress.

They are all now taking turns looking for every photo op, every opportunity to say something negative.. running off to Iraq to spew edicts and "see for themselves" the "Vietnamese quagmire". What's so humorous is that the soldiers over there usually say just the opposite of what these naysayers want to hear, and so they come back home without any ammunition other than what they make up in their silly little heads.

And what can one say about the men in the Democrat party with dames like these running the show? There is not one alpha male in the entire lot. John Edwards? The guy is an opportunist, pure and simple. He made his presidential bid announcement from NEW ORLEANS after a video photo-op where he's "helping rebuild" the city. And oh yes, he has a MySpace webpage (because he's hip, young and cool), and wants an immediate withdrawal from Iraq (because he cares about those "boys and girls" dying).

Who else do we have... Charlie Rangel is old and frankly losing his mind, which he proved by calling for a military draft. Ted Kennedy is an unconvicted criminal, an incompetent alcoholic with a desire for days past and fame lost who will do anything to get attention. John Kerry is, in the minds of many including his former fellow military crew, a traitor to his country. He double-speaks but still manages to say nothing of import or relevance.

Of course, good old Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter are still lurking around. Two southern boys with nothing better to do than trash everyone who disagrees with them. Clinton, for some reason, truly must believe it's attractive to bite his lip when he's faking sincerity, because he clings to the habit like stink to a garbage dump. Carter has gone over the edge with America hate-speech, as he trashes the country that gave him the best job he'd ever have to any other country that will listen.

Harry Reid, like Dick Durbin and Jack Murtha, is as old as dirt and has about as much to offer the entire democratic process as said dirt. Dick Durbin turns dirt into mud, not missing a single chance to trash our troops or our president, as if history isn't recording his words, and Jack Murtha is a sad example of what a military man gone soft in the gut looks like.. and not just the physical gut. And how about the up-and-coming Barak Obama? He looks like a deer in the headlights, if you ask me, and I predict he will fall by the wayside as the Dem females snarl their way to 2008.

If the Democrat party had any sense, it would shut it's collective mouth and get to work -- real work -- helping President Bush accomplish victory both in Iraq, and in the nation. We need to fight to win, and to fence in our borders. We also need to encourage people to take hope in the great job market and strong economy.

Sadly, the constant carping, bitching, complaining, dogging, and never-ending diatribe of hate and dissent has taken a devastating toll on the political process. In my opinion, their bitterly hateful tactics have contributed mightily to making the continued struggle against the terrorist threats we face difficult. Our servicepeople deserve better, but the Democrat party has no interest in the "best thing" for our country. They simply want power, and know they only way they'll get it is with lies, subterfuge, and outright bullcrap.

And the women seem to be leading the pack.

I am beginning to think that the 2006 victory of the Dims is the best thing that could happen for the Republicans in '08.

I think from time to time the moderates need a reminder that the dems are truely insane. I'm watching the first few weeks of the dems in control and I say control loosely. I stand in awe at their shear idiocy. They are having a pecking order battle. Just watch for the sparks to fly when the primaries start.

These people are simply the consequences of the doctrines of inclusion, equal rights, empowerment, the big tent, room at the table, tolerance, debate, discussion; the expression of different points of view, all people have worth, human dignity, democracy etc. In actuality their conduct is simply an expression of what they are. To deal with them members of our society must relearn the concepts of exclusion, the outcast, those who do not belong. Relearn the ability to command instead of bothering to learn how to attempt discussion with trash.

You left out Mother Teresa.

My view is that we need to keep any woman that is near, in or past menopause away from elected office. They are too pissed off and too crazy to be near power and the treasury.

"these three self-declared feminists . . . "

I can visualize the three witches stirring the caldron, chanting, "Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble."

I agree.

The rise of the Femocrats and the lack of any alternative leadership will sink Femocrats before 2008.

I believe so too. Plus in 2008 all the Dim presidential candidates are totally emasculated. They don't have a Rudy or Hunter, someone manly with strong leadership skills.
