I am so glad that so many are recognizing that Christianity cannot be associated with those who support murder. Most would fail to see the connection unless it was a Planned Parenthood official speaking.

So if Religion is supposed to stay out of government then why is government allowed in Churches?

I try to tell people who want to support a pro abortion candidate (even someone likable like Rudy).....if they don't value the life of an unborn child....do you really think they value your life??????

I don't understand how christians can register as a democrats when the party's goals are so inconsistant with morality. Not that Republicans are all moral, but I don't think abortion or celibration of homosexuality are party planks. (are they?) Independent would probably be the safe bet.

For one of two reasons: (1)biblical and political ignorance or they simply (2)are professing Christians only.
Or perhaps both!

Rick Warren was one of those 'leaders' who jumped on the environmentalist wacko bandwagon and now he's flirting with Obama? Anyone else think that Warren is a closet Dem?

I find it interesting that Sen Obama isn't speaking in a Mosque?
His father was a Muslim, his step father raised him as a Muslim, and he went to a Muslim school in Jakarta.
During his campaign, he claimed both his father and his step father were "Non-Muslim Muslims." He later changed his story again and said his father became an atheist.
He now claims to be a Christian, but I don't believe him. He is a wolf in sheep's clothing, and his positions on issues are against biblical authority.
Rick Warren has lost his mind.

Christian leaders...are rising up together to urge...Rick Warren to rescind an invitation to Sen. Barack Obama to speak...This is but one of many forthcoming backlashes against this man.
He is not electable on a national level.
I've been saying this time and again on this forum.
His abortion views, his foreign aid giveaway views, his closeted islamism, his views on liberal social programs and his name will sink him like a rock.
He will provide amusement for us, though.
Much like that damn fool Dukakis did.

I read the Call to Renewal. He has cornered the market on Democrat religiousness.
After people hear all that crap their minds will be lulled into a euphoric state of comfortable numbness and not realize that, in the end, he is still pro-abortion, celebrator of homosexuality, and anti-second amendment.

I don't agree. A lot of people want so much to end the political fighting and just "do what's right." Barack Osama sounds good. I heard people over the thanksgiving week say that they really liked him and that he has a lot of good to say. These were good, honest, religious, non-political people.
Unfortunately these people like so many don't vote principles, they vote feelings, and they feel good after listening to Barack. I don't take him lightly.
