Sounds like civil war to me.
Countless "sob stories" about the havoc wreaked by illegals should be out there daily.
In both instances the friend and the relative asked the cops if the illegals were going to be arrested. Instead the cops threatened to arrest not the illegals but the family member and friend. INSANE!!!!
They need to go to the officer's supervisor and report that and also have him view the officers tape to be sure the officer also reported the accident correctly.
I had a similiar incident and the above details worked for me, hopefully for your friend and relative too if they have to proceed further for insurance or medical purposes.
Mistake #1 - They allowed uncontrolled immigration.

Maybe we can ask some country to invade Mexico and then maybe the illegals will all run back to defend their homeland.

You are very welcome too. I got into a huff this morning after reading about the Bishop's letter sent to Congress, regarding illegal immigration, then reading this.
I suppose the Dims response to this will be to call for US withdrawal from Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, & California.
It is TRULY amazing to me how many Americans turn a blind eye toweards letting illegals in their yards and home to save a few bucks for landscaping, cleaning their home, taking care of an elderly/ill person, service jobs and construction jobs!! They might save a buck but they open the door to a flood of them into a neighborhood (we've experienced the door to door flood when our neighborhood was discovered).
Basically I blaim Americans and businesses who use these people for our troubles. It is like drugs. It is a choice! Legal or illegal?
I just read an article the other day about an illegal, drunk, no insurance/license who killed a boy in Palmdale, CA when he ran a red light. Google to find.
I intend to sue the federal government if any harm comes to my family or me or land I own!! I guess we need to take some cases to the Supreme court if that has not already happened.
I just got done working the New River in Calexico. I laid in for several hours in my Ghillie suit on the banks of the nastiest river in America in support of agents deployed right at the border. I was waiting to catch me a good ol' child molesting illegal alien, because then I can deport them for the 20th time. Isn't the that nice? LOL!
